Depends on what sort of collar you mean.

Black lace is a choker and looks insanely amazingly sexy on a woman. generally doesnt necessarily indicate sub or slut as far as i am aware.

Collars (generally leather) often with ring for hooking lead/chain etc to will indicate sub. Not slut.

Often means, owned if the collar is attached by a dom.
