in the last month i have had two meets that in the end didnt happen but both followed the same sort of pattern.

i get a message from a lady or from a couple. We correspond its all going great and dates, times and venues are set. Then nothing for a few days. i send a message confirming our agreed deatils..no reply. After another couple of days i ask is the meet still on are they ok? still no reply. Yet i can see they are online daily, they have read my messages.

So is it me? or why is it some peeps cannot simply say "sorry we have changed our mind.... no meet".

Why do they set up meets with no intention of going through with them?

Rant over

If they are not verified it could be a guy posing as a couple.

Welcome to the world of time wasters.

Lovely people - not

Take comfort in the knowledge you're not the only one this happens to. Look for the warning signs early on and move on.

I just wish I'd been at that wedding (profile pic)...or lived near Stoke!

well if they didnt reply to your first message then you should of known they had changed their minds. i sometimes tell people i have changed my mind about meeting them, they dont always like it, i would rather people tell me they have changed their minds though its just people being lazy and unreliable or maybe they just like messing people about.

I've had that too. It's the lack of reply that irks me the most!!!Some guys will come back a few days later and say 'Oh sorry, things got mad at work' or some such excuse and want to rearrange, but I need to learn - ONE single failure to reply means no good will come of it, IMO, they will let you down in some way eventually.
