Hi all. I'm a verified guy on here, but obviously not just on Fab but in the real world as well I am one of about three million!

What I find with dogging sounds rather obvious - it's just full of single guys (or gays) in their cars, waiting...so even if you do get a couple turn up, the poor people are faced with about 20 guys!

What are genuine doggers (particular couples) views on the scene as a whole? Obviously pre-arranged works best as we all know a few very quiet spots where the hoards don't go, but other than that it seems very, very hard (so to speak) to find any action.

I'm very polite so even if a couple are at it in their car, I wouldn't even approach unless there was a signal. Is this correct?

Also if anyone in the Surrey area wants to let me know where the best places are (I think I know most of them but you never know), please let me know.

This is a genuine post from a verified user simply looking to hear from other, more experienced swingers, about any advice, tips, or general thoughts on what is, let's face it, a pastime that is 60% straight men, 34% gay men, and 1% couples!!!

me thinks you are going to frighten couples away !!.. seems to be the thing to at the moment!!.. ive never seen 20 people at a dogging meet. most ever about 10. usually about 6 cars at the places i go. thing to remember.. the lady is in charge. just be polite and they usually have a good time

I'm always polite, maybe too polite. Unless a car flashes it's lights or has interior light on then I don't approach.

You don't need to teach me about etiquette.

The point I was hoping to make was how do genuine 'doggers' feel about the scene and I was actually hoping this thread would be useful.

Single men will always outnumber couples or single women. Sometimes it's controlled in clubs but on sites like this, in dogging areas and sex cinemas etc, the more action there is, the more single guys will flock. I'm not against single guys, just saying there will always be a very unbalanced ratio.

We find the main spots are now done for. Too many idiots etc around them. We prefer to find our own spots and invite peeps

As a non dogger, I have a comment...

Many years ago especially when we had young kids, alone time was hard to find, pulling over on the way home from some event while the babysitter was taking care of the kids was a great fun way of spicing up our sex life... then all the places suddenly started filling up with guys who would crowd around the car. Killed that pastime stone dead!

Sometimes outdoor fun is not inclusive of 5 - 20 single guys who were not invited in the first place!

to be honest, the anticipation is a bit of a kick.. it goes with, the disappointment of no fems turning up and the buzz of seeing two heads in a car, then realising one is a fem.. then.... will she play

It's this 'sharing' which has caused many of the problems dogging now faces.

Back when finding out about sites etc took time, effort and energy, people were a bit more conscious that they had a responsibility to maintain a level of control over where that info was shared.

Now, because it's easily discovered, it's devalued and people feel able to share it with Dog knows who just because some anonymous internet profile asks.

I completely agree, and that's no offence to the poster here who asked.

I did my own research, plus am lucky enough to live in Surrey - the dogging capital apparently!

I often see couples at it in their car but more often than not it is teenagers with nowhere else to go to have fun - they are not doggers and the thought of a burly 21 year old getting out of his car to punch me doesn't appeal!

Have also had occasions where cpls ARE wanting to be watched, however as has rightly been pointed out here, that results in a football team surrounding the car which is actually intimidating for me, let alone the woman in the car!
