I check profiles 1st if I get a message from someone new and I would delete yours. Sorry but your profile needs sorting out. New or not you need to sell yourself not make out you are some sort of innocent whose had a sheltered life.

Many people would check out your profile before reading your message and your profile is all about what you want and not what you can offer, maybe think about a re write and see if that gets your messages read

Give it time you have been here a week,dont spend time studying outbox,its considered polite to delete if no interest,saves all the whys etc good luck

We only ever delete the one liner messages and those you don't even need to open lol, saying that we always check a profile from a sender too , if they don't meet our requirements or us theirs then its a simple thank you but no from us....

A good idea is to never check your sent box if you don't get a reply take it as a no and move on

there is always help available in the forums, fella.

you just have to pick through the snipey nasty shit to get to them.

as has been said, we delete messages unread when they are clearly very short (how RU? fancy a fuck? or similar) or if the profile is terrible.

always reply to a decent well thought out message, though, even if it is to say no thanks.

some, however, arent so bothered.

jsut take it as they arent interested and leave it at that

Make sure you have read the other persons profile fully and make sure you fit the criteria they are looking for, dont do what a lot of single men do , look at the pics see hot woman , think me like me fuck !!! And fire off a message regardless of whether they are looking for single men or not. That just shouts ingnorence. Good luck

As others have said, maybe they did read it and deleted it.

I wouldn't stress over your sent box, just accept that they deleted it and move onto the next one and hopefully one day you will find some fun.

I don't agree with that to be honest, surely they don't get hundreds a day, so they must leave them to build up to get that many.

If they are looking for meets then they must want to read them eventually or what would be the point of having a profile that accepts mail.

maybe it was in one of the posts that was removed.... but how do you know they never read it?

you don't you just see the words "read" and "deleted"... and both can be done in one swift motion

I think what we are seeing is that some people are getting more and more fixated on the things they have no control over .... oh the "status" of whats happened to a post.... how many people "looked at me" and then some can't do right because people will always complain about a wrong...

in a way.. I am beginning to wish these features were removed because it gives more and more people a thing to whinge about......

I wish people would concentrate on the aspects of the site they can control... as opposed to concentrating on the things they cant!

The fact is we are still able to open the profile and decide whether the person appeals / has decent text and fotos.( generally not) or shows they are what we ask for !!! Generally not !!

It is then easy to read the usual one line message without opening it anyway . If some one says something interesting i would open and reply . The standard Hi ! Really doesnot warrant a reply as a rule .

Unless you are refreshing your sent box every few seconds I think you wont see if it is deleted unread or read then deleted.

I also know a lot of people read a profile, without reading the message and make a decision based on the profile, so if the profile holds no appeal why waste time reading the message

There are many reasons why a message is deleted and some of them are not a reasoned rejection. Those who do not check their deleted and move on are missing a trick x over half my meets and ladies I chat to regularly deleted my first message one good friend deleted over 5 times before she had time to read both the message and the profile x

Many ladies bulk delete the 400 messages in their box just to..., I can only guess why lol

I have been sent messages and deleted by mistake whilst unable to reply then forgotten who messaged me when xx and some ladies do the same x

If you message a person who's not replied to you in the past, let alone deleted you, you get a warning message saying effectively that cyber stalking is frowned on by the administrators of this site.

I'd have thought that repeatedly sending messages to people who don't want to know you, if reported, is a road into the admins bad books and could lead to them banning you.

Fact ! Not every deleted message is because a message has been read and rejected ! I could quote more than one ladies profile which read along the lines

Balance intelligence reason a level head and fair judgment are required to determine whether to send more than 2 messages maybe reasonable or effective. Blanket rules are idiotic as approaches should be subjective depending upon profile content including status x

Admin are politely reminding us not to perpetually bombard with unsolicited messages which is very good advice .

While the fact remains that one cannot know if a message has been thoughtfully rejected it is rational reasonable and producive to appropriately send more than one message xx

That's not very far off the justification I once saw from a guy who creates false couples profiles just to get around the "no single guys" block in case the woman/couple clicked the wrong option and did want to meet single guys.
