This one is for Admin:

When someone leaves the site please can any of their posts be deleted when they go? It's very annoying seeing a number of pointless comments still posted on their departure! Secondly can they once having left be a period before they re- join? I've noticed quite a few who join then leave within days or hours and just have exactly the same profile ! They never age! Lucky them lol

Brighton - even Hove!

It would be an expensive business dealing with all that in the background. It might mean the site ends up being a paying site and a lot of people would not like that and leave.

Good point wonder if it could be looked into further?

Kent

Removing people's posts wouldn't work.

It would leave threads not making any sense with chunks missing.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I think the OP means the posts that they started, but that would be a shame as there are some very useful posts from UNLOS. The smilies post for example.

I have read posts where people have been 'stalked' or constantly contacted by people, who they have blocked, but they come back a day later. I suppose the site could monitor IP addresses but most modems these days have variable IP addresses anyway.

You can set filters to avoid new people or unverified people or people without photos.

A right, yeah most wouldn't be missed but some are classics and would be very time consuming choosing which ones to remove and which to keep x

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I like seeing some of the old ones and guessing who started them or who left a comment.

Yes, why? I've left and come back a couple of times due to an ex finding my profile and giving me hassle. I felt I had no choice but to delete profile and start again. Cant see how that affects anyone else but me and those on my friends list.

It makes me chuckle to see things I/she posted last time we were on

People leave for a variety of reasons, and it takes 2 minutes to set up a new email, then new profile.

It's not broke
