I, Mrs B, love a good build up, flirting, working up sexual tension with a potential meet but it seems (in our experience) that there isn't a lot of dirty talk happening on here. In fact I've scared a few people off in the past!

Because of this I tend to leave initial messages to Mr B.

Do people think it's fear of overstepping boundaries that puts people off/ makes people matter of fact and reserved?

Yes I do - Kate has the same issue. She loves dirty talk once she starts dialogue with someone but sometimes it's like trying to get blood out if stone !

I think as you say it's the fear of it building and them stepping over the edge although a lot take that precaution to the extreme!

On the flip side after an opening message a second message of "I'm going to destroy your arse!" Didn't win any friend invites either.

I think it's a common case of, women need mental stimulation to get them more so in the mood for sex, whereas with men, it's more visual. Correct me if I'm wrong guys!

I enjoy a session far more if there is some build up through messaging.

I love the dirty stories so I'll be looking out for this one.

I agree that lots of people are worried about overstepping the mark but I've found that if I, as a female, put out a tentative dirty suggestion, this seems to have the desired effect

I do enjoy reading the stories also but these are anonymous. Maybe it doesn't help that were a couple looking for couples so no one wants to put something that offends their partner or the person they're messaging's partner.

I think it is simply because some people like dirty talk and others don't. You need to ask if they like it. Find people who are into it. The problem is lot of people tick the cyber sex option on their profile but don't actually like it.

Also if you dirty talk with somebody it is best to know there turn ons and offs. That way you won't talk about something they don't like doing.

Personally i love dirty talking and cyber. I know the op is referring to couples, but i would be wary of sending a really filthy message to a couple.

Its hard enough to meet a couple here, and i would be worried what the hubby would be thinking.

We like it with each other in the bed room me (hubby) saying dirty things & calling the (mrs) naughty dirty girl etc.

Mrs does not like other people sending explicit text saying what they'd like to do to her or women saying what they want me to do to them as she finds it pushy + it's not usually about soft swap!

Probably be horny if it was a couple we know well but not complete strangers.

It's the most boring thing in the world for me (jane)...and most people are incompetent at it anyway...it feels like they're ordering a shopping list at best...and then I'll finger you, and then I'll lick you and then I'll fuck you...and the clumsy euphemisms just make me giggle...turgid love pole anyone?

We love really filthy talk, but messaging on here isn't necessarily the best place for it. We make it clear in our messages that it's what we like, and it sometimes spills over into messaging, but it's never going to come across on the page in the same way as when it's whispered or growled into an ear during an intense session...

I had a couple that I would ring just before hubby got home and talk dirty to her, her hubby would txt me saying he will be home in30 mins so call my wife, he recons she was a wild women when he got I'm and I did this for few months, it was a shame I never got to meet them, but it worked for them lol

It depends who you're meeting i suppose. With some people it can come naturally but with others it may not be their cup of tea. So, youbmay be barking up the wrong tree - they may not like talking dirty but just getting down to it.

Definitely isn't enough dirty talk on here, whether it's in a build up to a meet or just between two people or couples who find each others profiles appealing but are too far apart to ever meet.
