It costs nothing to reply to a mail, why are there so many rude females and couples on this site? you take the truble to mail people being polite and friendly, and what do you get, no reply mail deleted. And you lot bang on about single guys.

The amount of messages some single women receive, it is impossible to reply to them all. I instantly delete and block any 'fancy a f**k' messages, but will take time to reply to a message that has been well put together!

I will always answer even if it's no thanks with some exceptions the main reason I do not reply is when the writer has clearly not read my profile which sadly happens quite often

If it costs nothing to reply to a message then it costs nothing to send a message. In which case why are you making a fuss?

If, however, as you also suggest, it is "truble" to write messages then maybe it's also "truble" to write replies.

Perhaps it's worth the "truble" to you, since you can decide how many messages you send, when and to whom. But maybe the recipient has more messages than they can handle, is fed up with getting messages from men who don't match what their profile says they are looking for, and would rather be able to spend their time messaging the people who do interest them rather than pandering to the whims of those who don't. Perhaps it's rather more "truble" for them to reply than it is for you to message.

Maybe you should stop thinking you have a right to make any demands on a stranger's time and get over yourself.

Half the problem is that people who can't pull in every day life sign up thinking this site will be full of people like them, gagging to get laid. It is, but only some of the blokes! The women and couples here are usually here for different reasons and a lot of guys don't, or can't, understand that.

When they find it isn't wall-to-wall free fanny begging to be fucked by anyone at all, and they have to make more effort than an out of focus cock photo and "will fill in later" on their profile, they get nasty and start blaming anyone and everyone but themselves.

It's just one of the joys of fab.

They are my seconds though. And they add up. A handful per day might be ok. But I don't get a handful.

I won't my time on people who have already been told, by way of my profile, that I don't want to hear from them.

And no, before anybody starts, I won't block all men. That's like nailing your letter box up to prevent junk mail.

Unsolicited mail goes in the bin at home and it goes in the bin here. Anything from anyone far outside what my profile describes is unsolicited.

It would be manners for those people not to bother people who clearly don't want to hear from them.

This is the main reason for a lack of reply here. Profile says not looking for single men and you still get messages everyday. If people can't be bothered to read the profile and send a copy and paste....

Also while the op seems nice, there have been plenty of times we've messaged with a no thanks and either got a rude response or won't take no for an answer. Nothing is personal - we're all strangers afterall

In fairness, this is a big thing for those who do put effort into messages and ignored, I've come to terms with it now.

Admittedly women must get inundated with messages and it probably is almost impossible to reply, but sometimes even a no thank you is nice.

Especially so when you read the profile, and just scrutinise simply to make an attempt at conversation.

If men fit what I am looking for, or are close, and make an effort to refer to something in my profile then I'd always reply.

I think sometimes how men interpret what I put in my profile must differ from how I read it though. I mean, when I get messages from 5' 6" smokers who describe themselves as "ample" then I would think it should be clear that it's going to be a no thanks. The no thanks is in the profile I took the time to write!

Some women and couples really do get 100+ messages a day though, and since it's not possible to scroll through pages of the mailbox, it's a nightmare trying to just keep up. Messages from people you do want to message get buried out of reach.

If the entire mailbox were accessible rather than just the newest page it would help.

when i first joined the site i'd get indignant about no replys then i ended up seeing a lass off here and saw the sheer volume of stuff she'd get and realised what a pain in the arse it would be to reply to it all.....not a problem us fellas have so maybe we just dont see it ya know?

please regard that these people your messageing have lives beyond fab.....families, jobs and children etc etc so it just isn't feasable sitting for hours formlating polite replys to every single guy within seven million miles....just accept they're not into you and get on with it is all really....chill fella =)

We reply to some and others we don't bother. That's our choice.

Quite often it's not the first time they've sent a message but in a week we'll have forgotten that we said no and we'll have decided to meet a faceless cock pic who smokes!

Personally I never take offence to not getting a reply. I know I'm not gods gift or to everyone's taste. I tend to send mail to those who seem to be looking for something similar. But I know how much mail gets sent to ladies and couples so its easy to get overlooked or Ijust ddon't take their fancy. Happy swinging to them I say

I get about 200 messages a day not just from guys but women and TVs just wanting girlie chat , couples asking about club reviews etc plus of course guys. Ive always without exception found if you reply ' no thanks ' all the guy sees is a message back and jumps back and says something else like ... Can you tell me why ? ..... Once it took me 8 hours solid just to clear my inbox after a busy weekend - as I try and do it as I go along. I replies to those I want to chat with - answer any club queries etc and just dont reply to ones im not interested in. I dont block anyone unless they are rude or pester me xx

If it costs nothing to reply to a message then it costs nothing to send a message. In which case why are you making a fuss?

If, however, as you also suggest, it is "truble" to write messages then maybe it's also "truble" to write replies.

Perhaps it's worth the "truble" to you, since you can decide how many messages you send, when and to whom. But maybe the recipient has more messages than they can handle, is fed up with getting messages from men who don't match what their profile says they are looking for, and would rather be able to spend their time messaging the people who do interest them rather than pandering to the whims of those who don't. Perhaps it's rather more "truble" for them to reply than it is for you to message.

Maybe you should stop thinking you have a right to make any demands on a stranger's time and get over yourself. "

A non-reply IS a polite way of stating sorry but no thank you. If someone messages that then the ego often wants to know why. Do you really want to know you're too fat/thin, tall/short, too ugly blah-di-blah-di-blah. Save your damn inflated ego from being bruised and accept the non-response as "many thanks but no"!

Logged in one day to find 62 messages some were multiple messages from the same guys ! now if i were to answer every single message even with a no thanks to meeting it would have taken ages to do.

Then when you do take the time to reply with a no thanks the person then ends up sending more mail asking "why not?" or even becomes absusive ending in being blocked anyway.

If i send a message and it gets deleted i just add a note to that profile saying when i mailed got no reply and wont bother mailing again in the future easy peasy xx
