I am guilty, as are a lot of us, of only looking at peoples profiles of a certain age. Such a shame really, there are so many lovely people either side of our 'brackets'. Personally I feel me and my hubby don't appeal because we are over 40 but then we are unsure of people under 30! It would be so different if we all happened to be in one room as I bet age wouldn't matter but only sexiness and connection would! *sigh*

I started of with an age range of 18 to 35 but the more profiles I see, there ate still really attractive people and that the age isn't a clear indicator. I now have it 18 to 55.

Oh sorry no we have been to clubs, I just mean on here when all you have to go on is a photo and age. It's great to see a range of ages in clubs. So far we have only been to Hellfire (which we only went to once) and Abfabs which we are pretty regular. Like the sound and look of VA!

My age range is purposefully 18-99, trouble is I can't find any women 60+ who're either local enough to meet, or looking for guys MY age.

crystal likes older men, I like younger women so on here we tend to only look for couples that fall between our ages. But, and as someone has already mentioned, in a club that goes out the window and we look for couples that look good together and most importantly are relaxed and happy together. Age is much more flexible in real life than on here, but online we need a benchmark.

I recently met someone that was a couple of years under my age range and had a really good time so may relax my age range, the problem is my son is nearly 20 so prefer over 25's for this reason.

I agree in real life situations age can be irrelevant but on here I have age filters set as a kind of benchmark.

It's not set in stone so if someone has caught my eye out of my range then I'll wink or message them

Isms, age, sex, race etc rules/laws do not apply to individuals.

If I don't want to be friends, use their services, socialise etc there is nothing in the universe that can make an individual do so.

The rules/laws only apply if you provide a legitimate service as a business and quite rightly too.

I thought that being over 45 which is what a lot of Fabbers have as their upper limit, I was being blocked from contacting a lot of them that appealed to me. However I've found that there are still plenty who like the older ish guy so I no longer worry about it and put it down to their loss and the gain of those who do go for us old uns

Absolutely...legislation has yet to be passed to make me have to fuck someone outside of my preferences...which are dictated by what is going to stimulate my brain, my senses and get my vaginal juices flowing...

My kids are in their 20's so I'd rather not go with anyone below 35 - I hate looking at a guy and thinking "I'm old enough to be your mother!" - its a passion killer....

Being a single guy I have the luxury of not having to rely on an absolute age range to filter out the vast torrent of one liners.

I state my preferred range ( I recently upped it a bit now I'm plowing through my 40's) but am willing to accept messages from those above it so I can choose.

Id never been with a younger guy b4 joining here and also had an upper age preferance. But after meeting diferent people on here iv become more likely to consider meeting people outside the age range preferances on my profile.

Good post. 100% agree with the club bit. The only reservation we have is playing with anyone younger than our kids, and the eldest is 31

didn't know we had set an age range must have been default when we joined! but we do receive mail from folk outside that range so it seems it's not an hard and fast range,we've tried to message guys and got message that that have blocked members in our age range,but then again not sure how exact the filtering is as we do sometimes get messages from couples,and they are certainly blocked!
