can members that are not playing or stopping for a while please let others no so we dont message u and see that u still have not saw it 3 weeks later,

if u are going to be stopping for any reason put down on profile something like not avalible or not playing ect

getting fed up sending messages and not being responded or being told that the member is not playing for a while ect eithen if u say away for 2 weeks ect would help .

Some members have that on their profile, problem is they forget to remove it it get's rather confusing when they advertise for a meet!

Wow... Maybe they are just letting you down gently by saying they not playing instead of saying they dont want to meet?

I do 2 jobs and if im doing both, i always put it as my current status, that way people know that i might have read their messages but why ive not had time to respond

Some people do , some people don't get over it. If you're that worried may I suggest that you can see when they last logged on from their profile. I also agree that it makes no difference to the influx of messages even when people do state that they're not playing atm.

Surley its up to people to put on their page what they want and not have to putany reasons for anything, i think this is a fun site and you can pick n choose who to talk to and who to mix with without being questioned, sounds like you have a bit of a strop on !!!

I love the way some people on this forum assume everyone they message is responsible for keeping them happy!!

If its an unsolicited mail, the person can choose what the hell they want to do with it!

Maybe they see the mail, click on your profile and dont like what they see - they are not then going to reply. Maybe they just arent playing - its not their responsibility to do anything for you or to keep you informed!!

Playing is a "when and where you want to do it" thing - some weeks we want to, some weeks we dont. That doesnt in any way mean we have some moral obligation to post our every decision on here just to keep people like you happy!

I can understand it if they made the first move, and then stopped responding - but if you approach them, you have to accept that any response will be on their terms.

exatly Ihave put on mine I will not be playing until end of may due to mother visiting for a month and the messages still keep pouring in...lol people are going to message no matter what you have written on your status xx
