If someone says that they can't travel, and they can't accommodate, what does it mean.

I've sort of assumed that it means "we'll sort something out later" but are there any other explanations?

Needs to be somewhere they can get to by public transport but not the other end of the country?

Meeting at local clubs?

Meeting at local socials?

Meeting at parties?

Dogging (on the No. 48 bus)?

They are not looking to meet at all?

It will mean different things for different people.

It must mean they are into dogging, but only if it is very, very local to them, hence no travel.
