I would mention it on my profile, that way hopefully people who want to chat and take a possible meet forward, will have an appreciation of it.

all the best to you

mention it on your profile, anyone you chat to will know about it from the start then.

Be honest. Be yourself. That's what matters.

"mention it on your profile, anyone you chat to will know about it from the start then. "

And I'd probably be specific about it too because if you generalise it as a disability, it could leave people wondering. A specific disability may be an issue for one person, but not a problem for another. Good luck x

"don't mention it "

I guess that was a generalisation - if it affects your ability to play fully then mention it but don't go into detail. Chances are if anyone has to ask they don't deserve to meet you anyway.

Mention it on your profile, if I was aware of it when I started talking to you, it wouldn't put me off, but if you suddenly dropped it in, it might annoy me enough to stop contact.

During the 2012 Olympic games I got talking to someone on here from London who was in a wheelchair, paralysed from the waist down, he mentioned it from the outset, and as I was in London for the games I met him. Had a great time, went back to his, etc etc

Last year I was talking to someone who didn't mention a disability at all, when I met him for a social drink, he didn't have any legs.

Now, that doesn't bother me, the blatant withholding of information did.

We mentioned hubby uses a wheelchair when we set up our profile ... We thought it best to be totally honest from the start.
