MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

here we go again...

curvy is different to every person - whats curvy to one may not be to another.

I consider myself curvy but slim to average, whereas for others curvy is a nicer way of saying chubby (and thats not a put down, I've been everywhere on the weight scales having lost 17 stone now!)

Curvy means different things to different people! Can't see it ever being agreed on what the exact definition is.....

I describe myself as curvy as I have curves and a bit of shape. (some of them being in the right places )

I would say personally curvy can mean any sizes between 10 and 16 any less is slim or petite to me any bigger is BBW sizes but I guess it is how you feel. I would just rather ask dress size than body type because curvy is just too subjective.

I think Curvy isn't definitive, It's just possibly how a woman feels comfortable about describing herself

its all subjectional to how you view people and what you like

I take it to mean literally having curves, i.e. no matter what dress size having a waist narrower than your hips and chest. Women of all sizes can be curvy and it's the natural, sexy shape for a woman to be.

I consider myself a BBW, however, some peeps have commented that I do not qualify as one, and should classify myself as curvy instead.

I guess I would rather be considered as smaller than I perceive myself to be, than the other way wrong.

I think when your curves turn to rolls your not curvy, I have a smaller waste than my hips and chest but I also have a belly that hangs so I wouldn't consider myself as curvy

I'm a bbw but a curvy bbw. Meaning i'm not rolls of fat and overpowering stomach. I have a waist, boobs, hips and bum and yes I also have a belly but it's all in proportion. As already said it's subjective.

Nice question this.

My ex use to be allowed to tell me she looks "curvy", meaning she looks sexy. But hey, if I ever told her that she looked "curvy" I would be greeted with "are you saying I look fat".

Be carefull what you say lol

.

I would not have considered you as a BBW even before you have lost all that weight!

"Are men curvy if so what does it define"

The male frame doesn't really allow for this. By the time a male has enough body fat on him to start having curves it ceases to be aesthetically pleasing.

(I'm assuming here that the term "curvy" implies a pleasing shape and isn't a euphemism for being over weight)

On the other hand women can have a lot of body fat but still look great if they're still in proportion and "curvy".

Good thing about being fat, the fat helps to smooth out my wrinkles on my face!

"Are men curvy if so what does it define"

men who describe themselves as curvy latterly make me cringe, curvy is not a masculine shape and men should never describe themselves as such

I don't mind a bit of padding on a guy but put ample, I mean come on what kid of guys looks at himself and thinks.....I know curvy

"So if men cant be curvy why do some on fab put it down on body type ! Lol"

for the same reason as some women, cause they think its more appealing than putting ample or large

Heh heh, perhaps we need a new, more manly, category for the "curvy" gents. Beefy maybe?

Athletically curvy works for me. Curvy without being too big or thin.

As i thought so many different answers basically it is how the woman sees herself and men are defiantely not curvy

Before I joined fab curvy for me meant a nice round big bum with thin waist. and nice big boobs. Now I am confused really what it means. You find slim women chosing curvy as a description and really big ones as well

I would say I am a curvy bbw but that wasn't an option lol!

I find ample a bit rude.

I don't hide my curves there are pictures to show that I'm not a big boobed size 10.

But it is all about perception, I have curves in all the right places, you can call the extra ones a bonus lol x
