How can we revive dogging - sensible suggestions please and no posting dogging location names in this thread...

I know the growth of swinger clubs has had some impact on the dogging reduction, but let's be creative to ensure better dogging in future!

"What dogging reduction? Alive and well down south."

It's not so much the reduction in sites - it is the reduction in genuine people using the good sites that still do exist

Clacton on sea, Essex

Its going to get harder with the government clean up as some forces are introducing penalty points for dogging like those given to kerb crawlers, the cost of policing areas as made them rethink how they can deal with it.

If you go dogging go by cab lol!

Lots of our local locations are now locked up from dusk until dawn and some are even locked up all day, you have to ring a number to be let in and out! I think that's what's strangling it locally.

If doggers were a bit more considerate there'd be fewer complaints from the locals. It's complaints which bring visits from the cops and control barriers from the council.

how can sitting in your car be a criminal offence? And as far as I know, having sex in your car is not illegal either.

it is only illegal if the police deem it to be a in a area were over people may see and be offend by! thou dogging it self is not illegal just has to be covered by those same rules! the summer weather will help the dogging lovers relight there fire.

"Barriers are often anti traveller measures......"

I'm sure that just used as an excuse to ward off local anger. They may not want doggers hanging about locally but they want travellers even less.

Another 'reason' is 'to stop vehicles disturbing badgers'.

Dogging is now dead , like most places doggers just cant be arsed to clean up or its full of single guys who dont have any concept of dogging rules . And of course muppets posting locations on here in the meets events . Yes i know someones going to say how do you meet . Simple post a meet and ask for meet and then PM THEM . simples

There is an offence of lewd conduct in a public place but that has to be reported and im pretty sure that you dont get many doggers calling up the boys in blue because someone is having a bunk up in there car! Lol

Having been caught having sex in our by the police we were threatened with being charged with outraging public decency, as luck would have it they then decided to put the car through their computers and found that it came back with no insurance (it was insured, there was an issue with the underwriter) so they concentrated on that giving me a producer. Hate to think what would have happened otherwise.

Oh and this was at 1230 on a Sunday night with no one else about!

I can understand what the attraction to cottaging was for men, when homosexuality was illegal, back in the 60's and 7o's

I just cant see the attraction of meeting strangers for sex outdoors, especially in our climate.

then I stand corrected. But I have been to many places where the police have turned up and have pretty much ignored what is going on... I guess they must have had a boring night or just fancied giving you a hard time. Surely if it was that serious then they would have done you for it, no?

It's the rubbish left behind which causes the complaints in daylight. People complain to the council, the council pester the cops, the cops suggest a dusk-dawn barrier and another site is lost.

One need only read the posts in Fab to realise that dogging, even in our climate, is amongst the least 'odd' reasons for wish to meet sex partners.

I would think you are probably right, the police have got better things to do than bust people for having/giving a blowjob..lol

Your probably right there, we had been caught by local patrols before and they were very nice all they were bothered by was Morrigans well being, but these two were not the usual mob and had an horrendous attitude, it did feel like they wanted to do us for something. It put us off for a long time.

I think it's more - IF the cops have better things to do, they'll go and do them but if they're having a quiet night, they might just drop in on a dogging site or two.

We actually went for a little "Dip our toes" mission last night to a well known local location for our very first time, However Mrs two and Myself to a certain extent were put off when two cars pulled up each containing 4 men, we obviously left there and then, is this a typical experience ? ( it is worth noting there were other cars there containing only singles)

Thanks x

cars with more than one man in will put most off. Its does happen. Anyone who knows what they are doing would be foolish to go out in a group. Unless it was pre arranged of course. I would say you was wise to leave when you did...

most sites do attract the boy and girl racers 3-4 to a car they usually harmless make noise, handbrake turns etc but there usually gone by 10:30-11:00

there's still a decent dogging scene but not like it used to be and imho most bloke do know the the rules

"How can we revive dogging"

Stop having children...then in about 18-19 years time there won't be any boy racers around to screw things up for everyone else.
