Anything that is suspended is "hung" - including when you are hung by the neck. You have only been "hanged" when you have been hung to the point of actual death.

The example is "hung, drawn and quartered", where the hanging part is of itself not intended to be the cause of death..... that comes later as you are gutted and hacked into pieces... (yeuch!)

Anyway.....

Who wants a guy that is "hung"....?

Surely - "hung" means hanging down doesn't it...?

If it's just hanging, then it's not going to be much use no matter how big it is.... even if it's dragging on the floor.... (we should be so lucky!)
