No but then I don't really understand people that go on holiday looking for swinging meets.

Not talking about places like cape d'age as that's kind of the reason for going but you see threads about people going off to laxative then asking if anyone will be over there fir some fun.

When I go on holiday it's to relax and spend time with whoever I am going with, not to fun around trying to get a shag off a piece of strange. And I def would not do it on my honeymoon. Swinging is not something that defines me so I don't need to do it all the time.

No, it's not something that would even cross our mind!

But then we don't even have a interest in swinging on a 'normal' holiday let alone on a personal and specail occasion such as a honeymoon.

If you play very regularly then why on earth would you choose not to play while on holiday? Also, if you're already deeply in the swinging scene what is sacrosanct about a honeymoon - presumably the swinging has gone on for years before the marriage - or should marriage end swinging?

Interesting one, we would be unlikely to go on holiday or honeymoon blatantly looking for swingers (unless in a swingers resort or GC etc) but it did happen to us when away in Vegas.

We had been out for a long night and ended up back at the bar talking, flirting etc, when we got talking about the lady sitting next to my hubby who was chatting to the barman.

Anyway, a long story but when I went to the ladies, he mentioned to her that I said how attractive she was and fancied her.

He then wandered past me as I returned to the bar as he headed to the gents, talk about embarrassed! But we got chatting and it went from there, ended in a lot of touching and pecking before she agreed to come back for a nightcap in our room

As it happens, we are looking to do exactly that (cant help but wonder if you saw our thread in the other room!).

For us, we are regular swingers and it is something we have done together for four years now, We don't need to tell you all about the feeling it gives us and the wonderful escapism from normal life it provides when we do it.

However, for us.... this isn't a 'proper' honeymoon in as much as unlike some people who go for several weeks away to far flung destinations, we are only having four days in this country so that we can save money towards other things.

In our minds we are calling it a honeymoon as its just the simple thing to call it rather than going into needless details. It just happens to four days away together which is taking place immediately after our wedding.

We are not looking for 'strange' and we don't full swap. We simply want to include in as part of a few days away where we can socialise, meet new people and enjoy ourselves.

We choose not play or look for meets while on holiday because when we go away it is our time.

Swinging is not the be all and end all for us and we are not deeply involved in it, more dip in and out as the mood takes us.

No marriage shouldn't mean an end to swinging but I personally would not want to share myself or partner with others while on my honeymoon.

What other people choose to do and when it up to them....

There is nothing sacrosanct about a honeymoon. But to me when I go on holiday it's for new experiences and a meet is unlikely to offer that. If something spontaneous happens great, but soend time and effort sorting a meet? Not a chance. In a similar vein I have never been on holiday and spent it in bars or on the pull. It just seems pointless to travel to do something I could do at home.

It's a bit obsessive though isn't it. Like you can't stop shagging strangers even when you're on honeymoon.

Similar to taking your work with you and using you accom as the office

I think its down to the individuals and their preference. This is something we got into conversation about as we are thinking of trying gran canaria this year but are also getting married. We personally wouldn't stay in a swinging resort for our honeymoon or make it a "swinging holiday" but may visit a club if in the area to experience a club abroad. Then if they look any good go back at a later date for a naughty week away...
