Laptop issues!

Can anyone please help?

My laptop has suddenly started to be extremely slow.

Sometimes it won't work at all and if I ever manage to get a porn film to work it seems to be very jumpy and usually freezes after a couple of minutes.

I'm not very computer literate so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Do a clear out first.

Deleted unwanted items.

Delete browser history, downloads etc

Run disk clean up

Run disk defrag

Download a free program called 'CCleaner' run it then defrag your hard drive.

A windows reinstall is usually a last resort as you need to back up all your personal stuff first.

Defrag

Clear temporary files

Download Ccleaner and run it

Go to malwarebytes.org and get the program called malwarebytes and run that. If that doesn't work then back up your data and reinstall windows.

You can try going a system restore. Which doesn't effect any data only programs. Without knowing what version o operating system, the best way I to switch on laptop then preys F8 function key before stem starts. Chhos safe mode and then it bots up, with lots of writing which is normal. Long and then select restore to earlier time. Chose a stare before you had problem.
