UVE ARRANGED TO MEET UR WAITING AT THE ARRANGED VENUE ~MEETING AT SAY 1PM NO SHOW BY 1.30PM SO HOW LONG DO U RECKON IS A REASONABLE TIME TO WAIT FOR UR MET TO MAKE AN APPREANCE ?

well personally i wudnt w8 longer than half an hour unless theyd txt and sed there was a problem!! it wud be a case ov ur loss honey im that good u missed out big time lol xxxx

I would wait 15 minutes and no longer unless they had messaged me to say they where going to be late. If they cant be bothered to make sure they are going to be on time then i wouldnt be bothered to wait.karenx

I have no idea on this one.

Wouldn't people meeting up have each others mobile numbers so waiting around without a word should be something confined to the past? If the call is unanswered then thats a sign to forget the meet and carry on doing something else!

Antime i have met someone i've been in communication with them and my mobile phone was invaluable when they were guiding me through Leeds city centre.

well yeah gothica but i stupidly went to the meet without him giving me his no but he did have mine...

no call n waited half an hour for him so went home mailed him here and on msn know he's red the message here but failed to reply with an explination i just dont get it at all what do these ppl get from it??

i was on msn speaking to him an hour before the meet time too lol

sounds like the same guy i met , or shud i say didnt lol, he rang me wen he was on his way to ask wot wine i preffered, , last i ever heard from him, and yep he's still on here !!

30mins max is long enough

if they haven't phone me 2 let me no they be late then i say its a no show

I would text them (around 20mins after the agree time)

2 find out if they are coming if no answer withing th 10 mins then i shall up an leave

What these guys don't realise is that we have no need to name and shame... word travels fast among the sisterhood....diss one and you diss us all... a missed meet with one is a missed opportunity to meet any of us.

I'd agree with 30 mins tops unless there is a phone call and they are somewhere near. A call 10 mins before the expected meet time and they are just leaving home 3 hours away just doesn't cut it!!

Bit of an academic thought on my part really because I can honestly say I have only had one no show with no phone call (a cpl) in some 6 years. And that was at a local pub that did food so I just had a wine and a lovely steak and came home a happy bunny!

well i stood out side the bear and staff pub its 3.50 am and not sure weather to go home ,,, is 8 hours too long to wait ,,,, meet was arranged in december ,,, i hope she shows as im getting cold

ive had a few no shows over the years, i've waited ages in the past, over a hour in some cases, in fear of them turning up late then thinking it was me who had'nt turned up, theres no way i'd wait that long that now, i think about 15 mins is long enough if they had'nt called to say they will be late, and even if they had called to say they being held up i'd still wait no longer than 30 mins, you can stand about all day for some people if your willing to
