Hi we are pretty new to the scene although been on this site for over a year. I'm a larger lady and feel far too self concious to go to a club in case nobody wanted to play with me cos of my size. How do I overcome this apart from going on a crash diet lol

Can I ask you if you consider Dawn French attractive and sexy? Well, there is your answer... Walk talk and only go on a diet if either your health/ doctor dictates this or if you genuinely want to look different. But only do so for yourself, I would suggest... Otherwise, be happy and confident and smile for that is infinitely more sexy in the scene than being a particular size or shape

I have size issues ... even though I have lost weight (3 stone ) I am LESS confident now than I was a year ago. I think its more about how you feel inside than what you look like on the outside , I know its a cliche but its true. Lots of men like the larger woman you just have to believe you are that sexy woman in the pictures - because that IS YOU xxx good luck and have fun xxx

What a good point to raise.. it is not about your weight but solely about how you feel on the inside... so loosing weight will not always make you feel more confident and I would put money on this : If for some reason all fashion magazines were suddenly full of Dawn French size models some of the slim ladies might start feeling insecure. Its the media and what they feed us...

... its true for me , losing it has made a difference dont get me wrong but as far as confidence goes it has made me worse if anything. I find Dawn French so sexy and attractive - because she doesnt care and says 'fuck it I am who I am ' I need to take a leaf out of her book lol

like a lot of people have said on here size doesnt matter its more about the person and thier personality and you definetly shouldnt feel like you need to go on a diet unless its for health reasons, and i think bbws are becoming more popular, you will definetly have no problems finding people to play with if you went to a club thats a guarentee

Hi I'm a BBW and have been to quite a few different clubs myself, i have never felt self consious in a club as there are so many different shapes and sizes, dont let your size put you of off going cause it really isnt an issue, only an issue if you make it one lol xx.

I have size 24 bbw on my profile here and else where. I've stopped new meets as I have enough playmates.

My playmates are all gorgeous, fit, alpha males. I meet socially then arrange to meet. No one is expecting the body of Halle Berry when I address and we play again and again, massive ego boost!

Personally I don't like the idea of clubs: a little "seedy" for me, but many enjoy them so have fun!

They do a BBW meet at chameleons club the next one is easter sunday, its advertised on the forums, the clubs still open to the public as well as the site meet, but there are lots of bigger ladies that go, the reason the lady started doing the meet is just for ladies like you, because so many bigger gals like the idea of going but scared everyone else theres going to be a dolly bird so she started doing the meet so people would feel more comfy, i go to them all, always a good night and just as a matter of fact even on none BBW nights all the women do not look like dolly birds lol people of all ages shapes and colours go

when i first started to think about going to clubs I did worry that everyone would be model-esque, stunningly beautiful etc ...but actually they are as big a cross section of life as you'll find walking down the high street - just less clothes !

all clubs have a "feel" to them, and its a case of finding one where you feel relaxed, enjoy the company of others there and can just have a great time. It can take a couple of visits to place too, unless its horrific then dont write a place off on one visit.

Thats very true, ive been big pretty much all my life, when i first started swinging i was about a size 22, i hated my body, went to clubs but always hid behind big towels etc then about 2 years ago i decided to do something about myself and joined weight watchers, i got to my goal 13 months later and lost nearly 8 stone and went from a size 22 to a size 10, thing was i still wasnt happy, ok i was slimmer but because of the weight loss my skin had gone really saggy around my belly, boobs etc so i still covered myself up, people would tell me id lost to much weight and that i looked ill, cause you'll never please everyone

so i decided to put a bit of weight back on, to see if i could fill out my saggy skin a bit and stop people telling me i looked ill lol and i ended back up at a size 16, hated msyelf again cause i felt so fat and felt like i had failed, but then people would say...oh your diet didnt last long did it, same look at how well you did!!...grrrr lol.... cause people will always find something to fecking moan about lol so went back to weight watchers, i've now settled at a size 12/14 depending if ive had a good week or not lol and to be honest im happy with myself now, i never wanted to be skinny i just wanted to be able to go places and not stand out and have people look at me, which looking back now im sure noone ever did anyway. but thats how i felt and lack of confidance is a horrible thing, if you dont feel good you dont look good no matter what size you are

I've had made to measure corsets made by Vollers but there are also many companies on ebay especially abroad, who do reasonably priced made to measure, if you don't mind a wait for them. xxxx

Im a size 24 now was a 28 at one time. First time i went to a club i wore a pretty chemise. It was just below the knee i felt comfortable but was a bit wary of revealing more. Now anyone who knows me will tell you my arse is hardly covered these days. I feel confident, dont give a monkeys if everyone is going to fancy me or not. I have to admit i dont go along with that, being someone whos been swinging for 9 years, when i started swinging i was a size 22, i didnt really get that much attention, people always used to say to me i was a really nice woman but just not for them, which was fair enough, over the years i made many good friends who was only friends, then as i stated in my earlier post, i went to weight watchers and went from a size 22 to a size 10 and guess what, all of a sudden people id known for years started having interest in me, men id met at club and socials over many years started asking if i wanted to play, i have since put a little weight back on and i am now a size 12/14 ish, but i firmly believe from my own experiences that men do prefure you slimmer and personality isnt more important, now im the same peron i was 8 stone ago, my body may have changed but my mind hasnt so if it wasnt a size issue you tell me why men i have know for years only wanted to play with me after i lost weight? i have to admit when i used to go to clubs if men did approch me id think to myself, do they really like me or are they just asking me cause they think i will be a easy lay because im fat? and thats no disrespect to anyone else that just my personal feeling to the way i felt about myself and how i thought other viewed me, and it was because of that i decided to loose weight and i have found people treat me much different since i have, but im also a firm believer that you should be who you are, noone should loose weight for other people you should only do it for yourself, if your happy and confident what others think about you shouldnt matter x

You mentioned in an earlier post that when you were a size 22, you 'hated your body'. Is it possible that you subconsciously projected that feeling and it's THAT which put men off ... and not your actual size? From personal experience and from having MANY swinging fem friends who are larger, I've never known anyone to not get much attention 'because' of their size. I have, however, known women not to get attention because of their attitude.

I think in general, a lot of guys are much less critical of a ladies body shape, than ladies themselves are.

A pretty face, a nice smile and a friendly persona will come to the fore and will be the things that the guys are attracted too. Add to that, a little self confidence, and ladies....you've got him, irrespective of whats hiding under your frock

As a very curvy woman, I would recommend you attend a fab social. To see women of all shapes and sizes adored and lusted after by men of equally differing sizes is the best way of raising your self esteem.

Add to the fact my playmates are usually company directors, lawyers, business men etc I really can pick and choose the "best"! I've never contacted a man in my life and I'm in the position of not meeting new people as I have enough to play with and not enough time - lol!

Fat - women or men is just that fat! I use the term BBW as an "easy reckoner" if you know what I mean.
