Do you think winks are lazy or a way of showing interest?

We like the. If someone winks us we wink back and then expect that they contact us. We wink if we are attracted and think there is potential with someone. We dont understand why some are so hostile towards them.

I never check mine, just looked and I have 379 winks. Last time I went through them a few weeks back not one of them was from anyone who actually matched my preferences (and therefore hadn't read my profile)

I do state in my profile that I don't look at winks though so if someone chooses to send one anyway then it's not my fault it'll get ignored lol x

I don't think they are lazy, same as i donut think one liners should be so negatively chastised.. They are a way of breaking the ice, acknowledging interest.

If people ignore them then thats fine, but i think its a good way to see someones interest

Never understood why anyone could get uptight over a wink being sent.....they need to get over it.

I agree with you some people overeact to winks.

also sometimes you come across some really. uninspiring profiles that all u can come up with is a one liner message.

I view a wink as them showing interest but not having the nerve to send a message, I wink back and often find they will then mail me.

Some people think that winks are a good ice-breaker, or a way of showing interest. It doesn't work for me, as I never look at my winks.

Actually, that's not true. We have somwhere in the region of 300 "ignored" winks because we never look at them.

But in that 300 could be some great people.

So it's not a measure of our interest in the winker at all. it's a measure of our interest in winks.

They don't take a lot of effort but they are not lazy its a way of showing interest without clogging up someone's inbox. I guess many of us though tend to ignore them.

I think they are good way of showing interest. If reciprocated, therexis wink back. Then original winker messages. Quick and easy and prevents guys getting annoyed by lack of replies and women complaining about short messages.

The wink is a way of smiling at someone, if people are getting rude and up theirself cos someone winked at them, would they do the same if someone smiled?

I always say thanks for the wink if I get one, there's not that many lol and NO I'm not fishing or do I wanna know what's wrong with my profile and a wink to the lovely sexy people out there.
