How can you tell if a profile is fake or not? ..... I got a verification from a woman saying she had a fantastic time with me in club ( Isis) ..... Been once years ago before I started my fab adventure and I'd never go again .... Ever!!!

I messaged her saying ... ' you've just verified me? And she or it replied asking me to verify ... Which I didn't and I got blocked !!!

It's made me wonder does this happen often? Hence 'new' profiles getting verified within minutes of setting up? ..... To me it needs to be looked into ?

And to answer the second bit of your post - no it doesnt happen often but it does happen sometimes.

People can help by reporting profiles where the person gives, or asks for, or offers fake veris. Helps everyone.

it is happening more, in my opinion, and most of the profiles are new and hide their verifications,- I think I'm quite good sussing out fakery, but I think helping newer members(or those less able to work the internet that well),more confidence in meeting people.I'd rarely even verify people I've met who come back to the site..I make sure its them,via a phone call.I'll be fucked if I'm getting reported for verifying fake profiles

True .... I've had friends leave and re-join but they have messaged me asking to verify them ..... The problem is quite clear ... There's too much importance having your profile verified that it's blinded people to the fact that anyone can verify you without actually meeting and expecting one back ( own experience ).

Maybe a new criteria needs to put in place ? To revive that little green tick .. You need 2 verifications?

But isnt that placing even more emphasis on verifications?

I have to admit to not getting the importance people place on verifications. This is the only site I use that has it. Personally the thought of using what a total stranger has to say about another total stranger in deciding to let said total stranger into my home and bed is ludicrous to me.

I know ur opinion is always the same, but the site does want rid of fakes...its says it quite blatantly-so verification abuse is something that its keen on stamping out
