Why bother??

I've seen one with hardly any preferences ticked, no pics and the entire text was a dot.

Naturally I didn't reply to his 'hows u' message.

You need to take my post in context. I did mention prior to that a member who had been on a while and had simply put a dot as the entire text. Now, they are entitled to put what they like - but they can hardly be serious about meeting. And since the thread is about profiles with little on them I simply added my post based on what I had experienced on here.

Probably prefer reading that than ones which are long, you have to write the special word to prove you have read it,CAPS overused, exclamation marks lined up like lemmings.

This could be the way forward, cant tell you the last time I read a long winded one

Although I don't show up in searches so maybe you're right. I will change my profile to include 'looking for men' and see what happens. I like experiments.
