Is dogging dead I went to a couple of places round Leeds and it was dead just an odd car with men in.

I know you can never tell when couples will be in but it was dead.

There is no getting away from the fact that dogging isn't what it once was. However, its not dead. You just need luck and patience and you'll be fine.

Dogging is far from dead inBrighton, used to cut through the car park by the marina. It seemed packed most nights, it made me laugh the amount of people who quickly turned off the interior lights as I rode past on the motorbike.

Dogging isn't dead, we don't go to the well known local sites that everyone uses as they tend to be over run with boy racers and police.

We have found a couple of private, quiet places, put meets up on here and arrange to meet there

I think the cold weather could have a lot to do with it

Don't think it's the weather, just think it's down to luck on the night x

I ditto that. I've had a few quiet times the last few times I've been, but no it still goes on. However, I'm off season till the Spring now.

I think winter dogging is better than the summer. The chances are if somebody is willing to go out in the cold rain or snow they must be horny!

We used to enjoy dogging fun but what stopped us were the overly persistant guys who would chase you from one place to the next not giving you a chance to relax and lok around, pushy in carparks is the biggest turn off of all in our opinion, even worse when your the only couple there surrounded by guys and its kind of a fight to get closest to you before any one else, too intimidating.

I've had no luck finding active places in liverpool. All the old places are heavily policed now. Shame, i'd love to try it.

We have the same problems as some other people. The great sites around Maidstone have so many police now its closing them down. No disrespect but the gays have put the mockers on them. One site Cobtree Manor was great lots of bushes in the car park to view from but now all cut down, but the gays still turn up an play in the open near kids play ground an toilets.

With police cuts you'd imagine they would have better things to do than bother consenting adults.

"The gays", as you put it, were probably there first. Many dogging sites were cottaging sites long before dogging became trendy.

4-5 guys around a girl bent over the bonnet of a car in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night.

How can they tell it's 'consenting'?

Cottaging has been around for hundreds of years.

You must have VERY old friends.

Yes I do, but some are young as well and I have the greatest respect for them all.

True, but then again, it's an easy bust to help push up the arrest figures isn't it!

The idea of dogging doesn't really appeal to us, but watching the documentary "dogging tales" put us off for defo.

Also I know a guy who took his girlfriend dogging and some guy spunked all over his side window, he wasn't happy, I wouldn't have been either.

We had a great meet last Sunday with another couple, arranged dogging is thriving.

The problem with giving out the good places is that they will be overcrowded next week!

When a meet goes well it really goes well but even couples spend hours waiting around to meet single guys? We had a meet last summer and a guy was playing with Carmela, another guy dragged him away and tried to take over and gave us dogs abuse when we wouldn't let him. That evening ended quickly for us all.

That's like watching Burke and Hare and expecting to learn about undertaking.

Simple breakdown in communication. Talk to your dogger - explain what you expect and definitely don't expect.

No, dogging isn't dead. It isn't what it used to be either. It is always quiet in the winter months with just a hardcore of doggers & couples about. I would say this is the best time of the year for people who want genuine doggers and don't like crowds. Over the summer months it turns into a circus!

As for the dogging tales documentary, I have never seen such a load of b*****ks in all my life. It would have put us off dogging if that was the only info we had ever seen!
