We are relatively new to scene but LOVING it! When we are out (not swinging) we are trting to work ouy whether people we see or know swing. Obviously it is not the sort of question you ask out right. Does anybody know of a code/colour that people discretely display to show they swing? We know it sounds odd butsure we aren't the people.

Brighton - even Hove!

I saw a chameleon sticker on a car the other day and they sell those as swinger signs. I don't think there is any agreed sign or indication, although I always watch the ladies in the cucumber section at Waitrose grasping the goods.

Listen to them at a rugby match singing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot..." and see which words they place the emphasis on...

...or don't...

One or the other.

no outward signs but we were having lunch today and the couple behind us were discussing a meet they'd had. It didn't go as well as they'd hoped apparently

Just googled the chameleon thing and it looks like a sales pitch rather than a recognised symbol. It shows chameleon on yellow branch for straight and on pink branch for bi

Yeah, all looks a bit naff. The chameleon I saw was black. I don't think there are any signs, unless...well...if I tell it wouldn't be a secret would it? However....fish symbols on the backs of cars

Urband legends:

Pineapple placed upside down in a shopping cart

A pineapple door knocker

A woman wears an anklet on her right leg

A woman wears an anklet on her left leg

White landscaping rocks in someone’s front yard

Wearing a thumb ring

Wearing a toe ring

A man or woman wearing a red ball cap

Switching the wedding ring to the right hand

Yin-Yang tattoo

Pampas grass in the front yard garden

Pink or purple decorations in the front yard

A fire pit in the yard

A hot tub in the yard

We should start one, like in the Spy world. The conversation should start like this:

Person 1 - In the summer, I enjoy the occasional ice lolly.

Person 2 - Agreed. My particular favourite is the Fab!!

Isn't half the fun of being a swinger the not knowing who is and who isn't?

Plus any sign would be jumped on by the gutter-snipes who write the news anyway, thus making it pointless.

I've heard of the pampas grass in the front garden... Had neighbours with it when I was a teen and used to watch for shenanigans... Never saw a thing lol.

The ying yang tattoo is a sign for being bisexual... I have one

A more discreet sign would be cool... Years ago before homosexuality was legal and accepted, gay men would wear a little finger ring as a sign.... Now it's the rainbow flag.

There's a marketing opportunity here for someone!
