Club/GB promoting profiles

Have seen the rise over the past year of alot of fake swingers profiles promoting Clubs, Greedy Girl events, GB, private money making parties etc and am now getting more and more spamming messages from them.

Have reported them to admin as such but still seem to be left up.

My question is to you out there have you seen the rise of these and have you reported them?

Also do you think they should be allowed to continue?

My thoughts are that they are not real swingers profiles and against the ethos of the site.

And if you have a Club night etc then there is a place to advertise that and people can go seek it out without being spammed.

The thing is that you say on your profile you are into parties and clubs .

We are not affiliated with any club or party organisers , and like yourself enjoy both . But it is hard work as an event organiser to get the numbers through the doors .

Does it really upset you that much ?

We often find info shared useful .

I have a meet request and a thread up at the moment for a club trip. What else should I do to let people know I'm going and looking to make new friends?

I prefer parties/clubs to one on ones, so doesn't bother me

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

People can post details of events on their profile but they arent allowed to send out unsolicted mail promoting the event.

I'd prefer to know about parties and events, as it would be difficult to find them for yourself, especially when there's feedback from other visitors to the events as well.

Maybe a new section for fab, to have club events as an option in the Meets & Events

I also think the meets and events could do with a "looking for" option, so I could out 2-3 pages of meets and events not looking to meet Males

Presumably that also extends to if we have a meet up at a specific local club and another club messages us and suggests we go there instead?

You most certainly didn't sound fake in The Attic on Friday night. No one who is fake could sound as if they were having as much fun as you were

Never had unsolicited mail or noticed fake profiles advertising clubs.

All meets I list are club meets as that's only place I meet people, does that make us fake

There already is. Check out the Swinging Club/Event ads forum.

"People can post details of events on their profile but they arent allowed to send out unsolicted mail promoting the event."

What im getting at really is the rise of profiles that are not couples or singles that organise the odd one off event for a birthday or to meet in a club etc.

The ones I have been contacted by are profiles where they are of a single women and couples with pictures of them on them, and saying contact this number to get invited to "xyz", and everyday they are sending out messages to single guys inviting them along to events in clubs or private venues. And also posting multiple times in the meet today section everyday for daytime parties that are obviously run for profit as a commercial venture as run these private parties 3/4 times a week.

This site is set up with a club section to find out what's going on for those that goto parties.

Check out the meet today, list meets search function, look under northwest and you will see the profiles on there advertising the parties and with numbers on the profiles of who to contact.

Now surely these profiles are breaking the sites rules on promoting a commercial service??

But did you then charge those people to come along to your event? were you running it on behalf of the club/or yourself to make a profit i.e. as a commercial venture?

I would presume not and maybe do it once in a blue moon, not daily as your income as some are doing.
