lack of verified meets.

Hi all, im new to all this and just wondered if everyone just ignores people that are not verified In person? If no one will meet you when your new as your not verified then how will you get a verification so that people will want to meet you? Catch 22.

Stick with it. And make it clear in your profile that you don't mind meeting for coffee and a chat. Send decent messages, not the usual one liners.

Thanks everyone, I don't have a webcam yet though and I only send polite messages, no oneliners. But I'll look into it, seems like every female gets bombarded with about a million messages as soon as they join too.

Depends on what kind of cellphone you have you could put Skype on it... Just a thought. I have the iPhone and it works okay with it..

we'll happily meet people who arent verified, unless they have been on the site for like 9 months as we'd just assume they were timewasters if that was the case.

if we're meeting an unverified couple or single fem, we tend to ask for cam2cam or at least phonecall first to verify they arent fakes, but no one tends to 'pretend' to be a single bloke so its different with them xx

Even ask in meet requests that someone meet you socially for a coffee to verify you.

Its not that hard

Some will reject people for not being verified other are more open. I'm not verified as I don't feel like chasing the people I have met for this, it just feels undignified to go begging for reviews to me. I hsve been here long enough that I am sure that it puts some off but I haven't seen much change in the rate of interest to be honest.

I've never chased anyone for a veri, or begged for a review, people I've met have just left one for me when they had the time, not everyone does but I think it definitely goes to help prove your genuine (especially from a single fems point of view)

I do not respond to people that do not show multiple meet in person veri's, as I'm not interested in online/imaginary sex.

Not everyone leaves veris' or shows veri's which is their choice, mine is to not risk anything in their direction.

My selection process works for me as I've never had a 'time waster/fake/other label' problem, and it works for me :D

How you run your profile is up to you, as is whether you put the effort in to get veri's

We don't mind meeting unverified members, as long as they haven't been on the site for a long time!!

As long as we clicked via messages! Then we would meet and would be happy to verify as genuine
