18 - 99 ??

A lot of blokes have the standard 18 - 99 as age preference. Personally, that puts me off. It screams 'i'll shag anything'.

But im genuinlly interested to know...would you actually have sex with a 99 year old?

You never know, there could be a 99 year old on here but are blokes in their 20s or 30s really willing to go with much older women? Or a 50 yr old women with an 18 year old man?

I in no way mean to offend anyone with this post...im interested in whether the 18-99 is just left there on purpose or just laziness?

I am 60n and not too sure, well thinking about it I am sure I would never want to have sex with a 30 years old and 99 is far too old

Speaking as a 30 ahem, year old man, who was once an 18 year old.

I think genuinely at 18 I would have considered sex with an older woman. I certainly had the magazines at the time suggesting it.

99 is pushing it a bit, even for someone with as broad an age limit as me.

In the end it's very hard to say where your age limits lie. There are some people who really look after themselves well and so the number part of it is less important.

There are plenty of women who still go weak at the knees for Connery or even for Cliff.

It can work the other way too. I've always thought Felicity Kendal is a perky lady. Maybe with out the make up I'd not be so keen, but then the same can be said for lots of people.

I think in terms of the lower age bracket, 18 would make me feel a little creepy nowa days. Which is more a reflection on who I would feel. Before I turned 30 I would have been ok with 18 /19. But nowa day's I'd probably have a lower limit of 23/24. (he says fooling himself that it would be his choice)

Having played in a swingers club though, I am aware that these limits can be blown out of the water. You like who you like and if they like you back, that's all that is needed.

I think in most cases its indicating that they are willing to consider a broad age range, if its down to laziness its normally obvious from the one word profile.

We have people with age ranges a fair bit lower than our age contact us as well as people outside of our range so its all open to interpretation.

I am on an intergenerational dating site and the age of oldest people is 93 ( man ) and 94 ( lady )

They are 2 very interesting people and have meets.

I have 18 to 99 on my profile because I know everyone has something interesting to say.

I personally dont want to chit chat with people who have, or if i have no intention of meeting them.

I have also replied to people who have messaged me, and told them that im not aftermeeting someone who has an interest in meeting tv/ts etc (personal preference). Ths response i get is often 'what does tv/ts mean?'.

I suppose my point is that if your serious about thia site you shoukd make the effort with your profile?

This age range question comes up a lot with always the question 'does it mean they will shag anything'. And from then onwards we get the jokes about the 99 year olds.

I simply accept that people havent changed the tick box on the profile, nothing more. Its not something I tend to pay a lot of notice of.

It shouldn't, you should be determining that from the guys overall profile, personally for me, my age range states 18-99 as a way of saying that age isn't an issue with me. I don't determine my sexual attraction to a woman based upon how many years she's been alive for, rather I base it on whether or not I find her sexually attractive, and have been fortunate enough to swing with girls younger than myself and once even twice my age (at the time). I'd gladly have sex with a woman in her 60s or more if the attraction was there, and can think of a small number of them on here.

n its not just blokes who have it same for couples an single females

I think there's a degree of laziness in there. I'd prefer to meet people of a similar age to me but everyone can be considered on their own merits. To be honest, sub-25 doesn't greatly interest me, and probably not 60 either....but I feel there's no point in blocking outwith a certain range as we may miss out on someone we like!

well put i have met a 25 yr old who was so boring i didnt fancy her at all even though she was attractive. I have met a 69 yr old who whilst "wrinkly" was soo much fun and very good in bed. So its about attraction and persoanlity with me and not age.... after all 80% of arousal is in the head...i'll get me coat.

We have fucked people from 18 to I think then oldest was 75. The 75 year old guy wore suz out!! one of the best shags she has had and that was at a club!!

The 18 year old was nervous and she was very shy but wanted to learn. She turned out to be a very good friend (until she moved away, pity). So it up to people but it is so easy to limit yourself unnecessarily just because of a number.

We prefer to see what the person is like rather then put predetermined limits on.

It is surely down to the individual surely. My wife is 59 and we have had guys in their early 20's who couldn't get enough of her. And we get messages from lads as young as 18 who want to meet us. We have met a large variety of ages privately and at clubs and had a great time with them all.

As the saying goes...Age is just a number.

We only changed the lower age limit. And yes we would as only go by the personality, looks and age don't come into it for us x
