Im curious guys. Interested to hear from guys who meet couples in hotels.

Have you paid for the room, shared the cost or have the couple paid ?

Not done a couple meet in hotel, but met another guy in a hotel, split the room 50/50 along with a few drinks/some food etc out before hand, just did rounds.

It's a meet not a date not sure why some fems/couples expect the guy to pay for everything on here.

I mean if your paying for drinks/food for three, then a hotel room as well fuck it may as well have hired yourself a hooker or two

I've only had one meet in a hotel. It was a 3 girly meet and the room was paid for by the firm that one of them worked for as she was in Nottingham with work.

TBH, I hated it. I had to turn up in drab mode and frankly it did my head in.

If we meet a single guy we will get the room. Normally because we'll be staying all night but we wouldn't expect the guy to stay all night.

rarely meet at them nowadays, but I have always used them in the past and the cost has always been shared

if I am travelling and using the hotel room after a meet, I will pay for it and I do not want a contribution.

if a couple / lady are travelling to meet me I would expect them to book the room and I would offer to share the costs, but certainly not pay for it all.

certainly what I would never do is book a room in my name, pay for it and leave a couple to use it after I left !

We usually get the room and they never offer to put towards even if they know we're not sleeping over. Doesn't matter, we don't ask.

If it's just me meeting someone I ask if we can go halves. Seems fair. I wouldn't let them pay in full though.

I meet a great couple in a 5 star hotel in Manchester I offered to pay something towards it but they said no the room was amazing and a great night was had by all.

In the past I've quite happily paid for hotel rooms, especially if I've travelled a good distance for a meet.

I don't feel I need to but I like to, when I'm round other people I have no problems spending on myself and others actually enjoy it to be honest.

What some don't take into acoount is we all have different incomes and responsibilities in life.

If a single male who has a decent income with limited expenses meets a couple with several children to support, mortgage, bills, etc basic common sense should come into the equation.

In these circumstances it would be a nice gesture if the male offered to pay for the room, regardless of what goes on at the meet.

If the couple declines then fine but money should never be an issue imo, this is all about having fun after all.

I think the general consensus that will be reached is - whoever intends on actually using the room is the one with the obligation to front most, if not all of the cost.

Yes I can understand this. I suppose it's how it's arranged and if there are expectations from people that I wouldn't like. If I want to do something I don't expect someone else to cough up for me. If its explained that you can't afford a hotel meet and the other party offer that's different.

you are meeting them as a couple though. They come as one. Otherwise they would meet singularly. As much as I am only there for the woman, the male 1/2 of the couple does need to enjoy themselves too. To split is in 3rd's is effectively like meeting 3 single people, which they are not.

If I wanted to pursue a hobby in my spare time, part of my reasoning behind it would be can I afford to do it bearing in mind my home circumstances...if I wanted to take up skiing for example, the costs of doing so would have to be factored in...I wouldn't ask or expect my skiing companions to contribute to my costs and if I couldn't afford to pay for myself then, do you know what? I wouldn't do it...

Plus, it would put me under an enormous sense of obligation if someone had paid for a hotel room...not a comfortable position for me...what if after all that, you really didn't want to fuck them?

My House

We mostly do hotel meets now:

We book the hotel so we pay because we'll be sleeping there. We ask nothing from those that come to meet us except that they actually show up and bring your own protection.

If we're meeting you at YOUR hotel then we don't expect to pay towards the cost so why would we charge you for meeting at ours?

I only ever meet in my playroom, so hotel bills never a consideration, if a guy is travelling a distance he is welcome to stay, having no electric or gas, I always suggest they bring a flask!

If a single male who has a decent income with limited expenses meets a couple with several children to support, mortgage, bills, etc basic common sense should come into the equation.

If I wanted to pursue a hobby in my spare time, part of my reasoning behind it would be can I afford to do it bearing in mind my home circumstances...if I wanted to take up skiing for example, the costs of doing so would have to be factored in...I wouldn't ask or expect my skiing companions to contribute to my costs and if I couldn't afford to pay for myself then, do you know what? I wouldn't do it...

Plus, it would put me under an enormous sense of obligation if someone had paid for a hotel room...not a comfortable position for me...what if after all that, you really didn't want to fuck them?

I think what all these posts go to prove is that people look at things differently. For some finances is the be all and end all. For others they get a hotel via work and then the subject of costs does not rear its ugly heads.

If all things being equal (financially) then the suggestion of who stays in the room decides the fee payer is a sensible one.

I think there is a big difference between anybody, male female or couple, offering to cover expenses of friends who are a bit skint and somebody else making it a condition of the meet.

I've done it when I was single:

"Are you going to soandso's party next weekend"

"No it's a week before payday, can't afford it"

"Well if you want to go I'll cough for the petrol if we can go in your car"

I only had a van at the time so I couldn't just offer a lift. It was a regular couple and I also used to pay for meals if we were out anywhere, only fair as they fed me when we were at theirs.

I usually pay for the room because most of the people they tend to head back after meet and few of them avoid paying saying they are already broke.

I don't mind paying but sometimes I say to couples that room is on me and drinks is on you.

If they are staying in it overnight we expect them to pick up the tab. Not sure if that is politically correct or not but they are well aware of the fact if they ever ask us. Their choice.

If they're there for work then I don't offer as their work is paying and they'd be staying anyway.

If they're already there when the meet is arranged I don't offer as they were staying anyway.

But if the hotel is arranged solely for our meet at a time to suit us then I offer to go halves. On many occasions that offer has been declined, sometimes in a very definite manner that suggests they'd be offended if I insisted.

Oh and there have been meets when I've paid.

We always if someone is driving buy them soft drinks just in case we need a lift home lol

I met a guy in a hotel. He booked it and when we got there he found that he'd brought the wrong credit card (how does that happen) so I put it on my card.

I was a bit miffed when he then didn't offer to at least pay half

My own fault, I know, for being naive.
