How to get talking in a bar

We're in Thailand at the mo so guess their could be potentially a lot of open couples and singles, how do we start the convo without an awkward scene about swinging ?

Direct the conversation towards tv shows and mention the dogging (with animal masks), the swinging show (think it was American swingers) and the love honey documentary.

If they seem to know a lot a bout the subject and swap a lot of smiley looks you're in!

If not just make it a general conversation about the preponderance of trashy tv.

Considering that you are about 8,000 miles away from home and unlikely to run into anyone you know, how about wearing badges that say, 'Swingers do it with more than their fingers.'

A bit direct, but you will get a lot of attention

If you are in a bar in Thailand, it is more than likely that within 10ft there are more than 5 prostitutes.

I wouldnt approach anyone unless they of English decent as you'll get a bill.

We were lucky when in Thailand, left a status on fab and had someone replied to say they were in the same place.

We had not arranged to meet as we had left for the evening but noticed a couple in the strip bar who were English, my wife took a chance and went to the ladies at the same time and asked if they were the couple from fab!!!

A great night followed!
