Ladies do you find Bi men a turn off or a turn on?

I often get knocked back because I am Bi.

It's been asked a few times.

It will turn some people off and some people on. You can't expect to appeal to everyone.

I just hope you keep being honest about your sexuality and not go down the route of changing your profile to straight - like most of the guys that message us. They then explain that they are really bi.

Being bi may be a reason for rejection - then again it could be any other reason. Not worth worrying about.

Those that are bothered won't reply or get in touch. Those that are actively seeking bi/curious guys may seek you out. Those that aren't bothered either way will treat you as they would anyone else .

Having 'curious' on my profile has never caused me any problems. And I suspect as many folk discount me for being a smoker as anything else on my profile.

Just the thought of the guy I was going to play with having sex with another guy would be a complete turn off.

In fact the amount of closet bi guys on the site is one of the reasons we've 'retired'. T

We can never see the similarity in the bi guy/woman comparison, the two are entirely different.

same sex, sex is the same be it male/male or fem/fem.

its an individual having the desire and motivation to act and have sex with the same gender.

where the difference comes in is social attitudes and conditioning. fem/fem sex is simply accepted more easily than male/male sex. when chris is rejected simply due to his bisexuality and for no other reason is homophobia plain and simple....that gut feeling or turn off is homophobia. Many hide behind choice etc

To clarify our individual status chris is bisexual and has experience with other guys.

I myself (Chelsea) am totally 100% straight and don't ever do fem/fem sex HOWEVER we would never reject a couple showing interest simply if the fem was bisexual

WITHOUT any offence Implied to anyone.

Just because your not turned on by male/male sex doesn't mean your Homophobic.

We've frequented Gay clubs and have close friendships with gay guys, that doesn't mean we find the thought of sex with them attractive.

The thing is, they know and understand our feelings and they'd be the first to say that we are in no way Homophobic.

If a couple wouldn't meet us because Trace was bi we'd totally understand.

What we can't understand is why bi guys can't do the same without playing the Homophobic card.

perhaps this has got off the original posters point, I we disagree with this and would be happy to discuss it in private message but fear we wud fall out. Having gay/bi friends....even close friends does not preclude you from homophobia and or negative social conditioning. without offence x

What a load of bollocks!

I don't play with bi men for the same reason I don't play with married men: they limit MY enjoyment.

With married men you can't wear perfume, can't mark them, can't shave them etc etc. With bi men, the ones I've played with in the past, they like wearing lingerie, anal play. I've yet to meet a straight man comfortable being dressed up or taken with a strap on: that humiliation/discomfort enhances play for me.

It's taken years of meeting men to find the kind of man that I enjoy playing with: not meeting bi men doesn't make me homophobic any more than not meeting asians make me racist!

Collins on narrow-minded:

"having a biased or illiberal viewpoint; bigoted, intolerant, or prejudiced"

This does not equate to having preferences, which can well allow for a 'live and let live' attitude.

We have nothing against bi guys but we are not interested in meeting them.

One it does nothing for us , hubby is not bi and the thought of two men together does nothing for me. Also there is the promiscuity aspect of bi sexual men and the added inherent risks to our health. I am not saying all are like that but it's is well documented that bi sexual men are a high risk group as well as swingers lol so we don't personally want to double that risk .

I don't understand the logic of this. So hetero men/women can not be promiscuous? And is safe sex is practised, then what is the problem?

Yes and no for me .. I would certainly not play regular with a bi guy.. because I have certain things I look for and rightly or wrongly I don't see bi guys as being able to have them.

I also can't relax fully with bi guys in group situations as had a few to many awkward moments..

So will not a total turn off they need to play straight around me

You are reading into something we didn't say.

Of course all can be promiscuous.

We only stated that bi guys do not interest us sexually and pointed out the additional risks !!!

A lot of bi guys we know interact with gay guys , great if all are honest with whether they practise safe sex or not .

Obviously not the case all round because men who have sex with men are the highest risk group

"I've yet to meet a straight man comfortable being dressed up or taken with a strap on: that humiliation/discomfort enhances play for me."

There are a ton of straight guys, and I'm not referring to the guys I meet, who like strap-on fun - I'm surprised you've not seen the wealth of forum posts on this topic. As for guys dressing up, then most transvestites, according to surveys, are straight too. Don't know that this equates to straight guys who want to be dressed and have sex with female partners, but I'm sure many of them would be eager to.

Off-topic slightly, from ops post. But think there's an increasing no of mf who are happy to meet bi guys, irrespective of whether it's for a meet with any bi play. Just cast your searches appropriately, and you should find them, or visit clubs with bi nights, such as others mention at chams.

Unsafe sex carries the same risk whether MM, MF or yes, even FF!

A male who sucks a cock unprotected is at the same level of risk as a female. A female who has unprotected anal is at the same level of risk as a male. Vaginal? Well you'll never find that in a MM scenario - but in an MF the risks of unprotected sex are well documented. My point being whether straight or bi - the risk of STI's is the same if safe sex is practiced. STI's don't have a preference for straight or bi. The stats often quoted re 'high risk groups' are only there due to the numbers being documented - which means more tests are being done - surely a positive thing? The reason such a rise doesn't exist in 'straight' scenarios is largely due to less frequent testing (in the real world - not necessarily swingers) due to many considering themselves to be in low risk groups - often due to the fact no same sex contact takes place!

The discussion on preferences and viewpoints towards bi guys will go on til the end of time and as it's nothing more than a preference there will never be a right or wrong answer. But there should be a clear distinction kept between preference based on personal choice and preference based on labelling bi guys as a threat to someone's health.

We are all responsible for our own health and will make judgements on who we interact with and what we indulge in based on our own viewpoints. Sexuality bears far less of an impact on this than many would have folk believe - and is risk is more linked to behaviour and education than anything else.

As a guy who indulges in the occasional bit of cock sucking - probably no more than half a dozen times ever - am I more at risk than a woman who gives blowjobs during every meet?

As a guy who has never given/taken anal with another guy (and never will) and has probably had anal (protected) with no more than half a dozen women in his life - am I more at risk than a woman who enjoys anal regularly, or a guy who has anal with women frequently?

Personally - I don't think so. And if anyone would care to argue otherwise feel free to drop me a PM. But as my status states 'bi-curious' no doubt some will see that and assume all sorts. There choice and doesn't bother me at all.

Just always bear in mind that we are all individuals. A label does not a person make. And when it comes to health concerns - just concentrate on your own behaviour rather than making assumptions about others and you'll (fingers crossed) never have a bad test result.

Day early semi-rant over!

Blimey ! I read most of it. Think I agree with most of it.

But in terms of risk. Whilst you might only indulge in some activities, your meets might be engaging frequently in very high risk sexual practices.

So as a bi couple we accept that we play in a high risk arena - based on we don't believe what people tell us, we assume the worst and play as safe as we can / Wang to and get checked regularly.

Being partof this scene, lifestyle or whatever you fancy calling it comes with risk.. I don't see that your sexual status really changes that risk. What is the difference between a bi man and a bi woman? Or a str8 man or a str8 woman? There is no difference. Take the normal safeguards and you reduce the risk. If you don't accept that you are taking a risk then get out of the kitchen as you have no business being here. That being said i would suggest that meeting someone in a nightclub or singles dating site carries far more risk of std's etc "don't be silly, put a condom on your willy!!"

I get your point. But equally I know many, many couples and singles who indulge in unprotected sex as a rule - and I'd consider them to be at far greater risk any day of the week and wouldn't consider playing with them - even though they're 100% straight

Guess I just don't like generalisations.
