Speaking as a Black woman, I don't. It's just a question about if your into it or its an added turn on in a sexual context and has nothing the being human aspect.

Why do you always bring up your American roots, how exactly does it give you a superior insight into racism or prejudice? You left when you were 15! America has more of a history of the white/black divide, that doesn't mean a black person in England feels the prejudice any less than a black person in America. To imagine a world without racism or prejudice is naive to say the least. Even with animals there are definite levels of superiority, let alone complex human behaviour and cognitive patterns. There is absolutely nothing about a persons preference when it comes to which race they choose to have sex with... Just be real with yourself and do you.

And there was me thinking that Human (as in homosapien) was a species not a race. The definition of a species being that it can reproduce with any other member of the species.

As I understand the breakdown from there we are broken into subgroups, race, people, tribe and family. And that those subdivisions are based on how closely we are related to one another.

To me the OP is not a 'silly question' - more a baffling one.

Does he appeal to me?

Do I like the way his brain works?

Is he interesting? Can we debate/discuss deeper topics?

Does he make me feel good?

Do we look forward to spending time together?

Do we turn each other on?

Do we stimulate each other on lots of levels?

Can we also be silent together, relax in each other's company?

If all those questions are answered with a resounding 'yes' AND they are reciprocated - then that's enough for me.

A person from a different race is not just a different colour of skin for me. There are other physical traits that makes them different and that on itself could trigger an attraction. Personality wise, they have different background, culture and way of thinking. That makes them interesting for me to explore and that interest could also trigger an attraction. So its definitely not a silly question. It is universally known that people are attracted to the unusual and to other races and thats the way nature wants it to be for a healthier genetic heritage. A mixed race baby is far l less exposed to inherited deseases... a different subject but I hope others could see the connection.
