In my opinion, the risk to the baby is not worth stranger sex.

As a couple, enjoy sex between yourselves until the wee one arrives.

Note: in my opinion, only my opinion and what others do, up to them.

People smoke and drink whilst pregnant (both infinitely more dangerous to a baby than swinging)

People drive whilst pregnant (also a risk to the babies life given the accident rate on our roads)

It's the way things are, as long as it's legal then I don't really get involved in judging to be honest

I'm pregnant at the moment and swing and we don't see the problem in it, as long as your playing safely. We only do soft swing and I only play with women never the men. It's everyone's choice, pregnant women want affection just the same as anyone else

"there life its up to them "

Not just there life it's also the unborn child's life but they don't get a choice.

It's wrong in my opinion and a very selfish thing to do.

you I think would be in the minority..

we were not playing when the OH was pregnant but we didn't stop having sex, yes initially with us there was a bit of nervousness and 'what if' but there was never any harm to the babies..

if folks wish to then its not 'wrong' its their choice, hopefully taken after looking at the issue of safety etc..

bit like other folks who have different likes..

There is a risk having sex with anyone, condoms have been known to split.

If that person has an STD, the pregnant woman catches it, there can then be harm to the unborn child.

I know, there will be people who say they will only play with "trusted "playmates who can't possibly have any STD's because they never have sex with anyone else but them, but I think they are deluding themselves.

Sex between the parents of the child isn't what is being asked though. We ll know midwives tell you that sex with your partner is fine for most pregnant women.

I wonder if midwives would give the same advice to people swinging/having sex with multiple strangers on one night s_ands with people who you can't be sure of their sexual history?

When I was pregnant I was not exactly mother theresa. I didnt swing but as I was single throughout one of my pregnancies I certainly didnt go without.

I was honest with my healthcare team. I was told that there was a minimal risk with safe sex.. and even less so if I wasnt having full sex.

To be honest I would say that more mothers put their child at risk through smoking than they would do swinging.

I think it is up to the parents. I wont ever be pregnant again.. and I think that I would play.. BUT... you never know till your in that situation.

was looking at the issue from a meeting with one person, not multiple strangers..

guess that's based on how we play and respect that others do so differently..

when you place that sort of emphasis on a 'meet' then that's not a meet most would have, respect a minority will do..

lets be honest no one knows anything other than what one is told about anyone else's sexual history, would include partners in some relationships within that..

the risk to an unborn child could well be within the foetus even if the parents abstain once they get an idea there is a pregnancy..

whilst the safety of the unborn child is paramount if folks look after their own safety as they do before a pregnancy then if they choose to play to whatever level they wish that is down to them, their preference, their choice..

others can equally choose not to..

I wasn't really commenting on wether I thought people should play with strangers or not, it was more the safe sex aspect I wanted to comment on....no sex is 100% safe.

My own _iew on it would be, as Adults we all take chances that we may still catch something no matter how careful we all are.....if people play while pregnant they are taking chances with their unborn child.

For me if we were playing at these games at the time swinging wouldn't have been worth the risk.

To the question of wether it is wrong? For me yes.

Nope dont agree with it at all .... its a very special time in your life, surely a yr or so isnt too long to just have sex with your own partner, is it????

We understand that point but then if its wrong as it may harm the child then why have sex even with your own partner any man meeting a pregnant woman is going to be gentle

It's got nothing to do with being gentle. It is more to do with sti's which can harm or potentially kill an unborn child.
