"Personally I think he's crossed the line a little bringing your personal lives into the workplace. I wouldn't give up the school if you enjoy the job but I would make it my number one priority to take him to one side & tell him as far as you are concerned what goes on outside work stays outside work...!" I'm a bit paranoid that he might have told someone else who works there!

"We've never put anything about being discreet on our profile - we don't shout it from the rooftops but are not cloak and daggers about it. I always just assumed that we all have a common-sense level of discretion when it comes to this here pass-time. Wrong. I went to a new school today that I've never worked in before. At lunch time I was sitting in the staff room having a chat to the class TA when I notice some dude is staring at me. He swaggers over and asks if I'm Meghan. Erm... Yes. Don't I recognise him? Nope... The TA then asks if he knows me and he says "Oh I've seen her out clubbing before". I'm confused at this point. Pubs = yes, bars = yes, clubs = not since my friend dragged me to that awful cheese-ball male stripper show at PACHA. So I apologise for having no idea what he's talking about. And he says "At Greg's club". Penny drops. Oh... Then he tells me I look "sexy all dressed up", sleazy wink and swaggers off. I was a bit mortified and probably made myself looks more suspicious by going bright red (nasty habit). I just cant believe someone would do that in a work place! Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What did you do? Apart from him I liked the school and the agency have said they have asked for me back... but I feel like I cant ever go back there. Am I being over-dramatic?" Yes over dramatic x

Am I being over-dramatic?" He crossed a line there. Jeez, men are hopeless at this stuff. I've been in a not dissimilar situation related to work but even though there was a mutual recognition I made no mention of it. I have hobbies that I love people mentioning but y'know, not this one.

It's probably just that men feel we have less to lose should we be 'outed' and that in some circles our reputations will be enhanced.
