I met a really great couple on another site 2 years ago and we meet about every 8 weeks , but they live 3.5 hours drive away . I have to say it is worth it , but a local FB would be heaven for me . How far are you prepared to travel

We travel to Chameleans when we can which is a 300 mile journey. Have travelled same distance to meet a couple we know. If we have not met then two hours is the most we will do. Once the ice is broken and we get on then it is worth the effort no matter the distance.

Sheffield

For a first meet then just across the city.

If it's an organised social then I've travelled to the other end of the country.

There have been rare people who I'll travel for but there has to be an existing relationship - generally we've met at a club so I know who I'm meeting.

I have been to new Zealand, 3 days to get there, 3 days back, it was a mistake, now I will go up to 3 bus stops, but weekends and bank holidays can go all the way, to the terminus

London

I had a playmate who lived in Wilmslow, I'd travel up Friday afternoon and travel home late Sunday. It was a weekend of pampering and debauchery. I just got tired of the travelling, but the offer still stands.

Nowadays I travel as far as my front door!

On my singles profile an hour tops as I just don't get that much time. On our couples profile will travel further for clubs/parties. There are some that I chat to regularly that I would travel further for if I had the time.

"About an hour at most x"

It depends on how fast you drive as well...

I travel around the country, not too far North like Durham as its bit too far from London.

Realistically? No more than 40-50 miles. But if its really seeming like its worth it, we would make a mini trip holiday out of it and use it as an added bonus :P C x

Wellingborough

Los Angeles or Colorado Springs for a decent party.

Otherwise; 2 - 300 miles if there is a decent hotel nearby or a spare room / sofa where I can crash after burning.

For a decent restaurant; virtually anywhere!

This...generally a first meet, no more than half hours drive from me, also won't countenance those willing to travel couple of hours for a social meet as I'd hate them to have a wasted journey should we not click - only exception is if I'm intending to be in their area for shopping/work/whatever then I'll meet socially. For organised socials, furthest I've been is Sheffield which is approx 3 hours from Arse End and furthest party so far has been Huddersfield

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I've flown to Inverness before, when I was living in Hampshire, to meet someone.

I've also driven 200 miles each way, (9 hr round trip), for some meets. It has to be someone I already know or that I really want to meet to do that though.

Usually anything more than an hour or so is too far. I'd be willing to travel farther for a social gathering though or to go to a club that I like the sound of.

Depends if were both meeting or not, i (mrs) cant drive so if i meet on my own it has to be at ours (that and im not that comfortable meeting on my own at a guys place yet) and ive had people travel 2 hours to meet me.

Generally were quite happy to travel a few hours though.

It's all relative really. I travelled about 20 miles north the other day but it was rush-hour on the M6 and took me well over an hour. In the end the meet was mysteriously cancelled by the other party when I got close to my destination. Overall, that felt like I'd gone too far.

In general though, an hour or so in the car is fine. I used to have regular fun with a couple who were about 50 mins down the motorway and that was fine. Especially as meets never happened in the rush hour!
