Is there ever a natural end to the Swinging life?

Hiya,

Im new to the forum, however not to the site.

I have swung, on and off, for the past 13 years. I just wondered whether any members go through phases where meeting people feels more complex then it should?

Have any of you completely quit meeting people to swing but remain on the site for the cameraderie and titillation?

Random topic, I guess but always interesting to find out what people think and feel about the lifestyle.

x

everything has a sell by date, if we don't grow we die.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I've been swinging on and off for 15 years. I stopped for two years in 2007 and did not miss it. I also have mini breaks where I hide my profile on here and just use the forums.

If my life changes my priorities change, and swinging is just a (nice) part of my life.

I meet then don't for long periods . Depends on how busy I am and what moods I'm in. Have not had a regular fun partner or couple in a while so now on the hunt again.

Hey Mr Darcy,

Stop threadjacking just kidding! Could see you point however its all just so subjective and individual.

When you swing for that long continuously, things do get irritating quite quickly I guess. Maybe a break is due and then when back it may feel nice and fresh again.

I've had long gaps, then times when meet ups haven't quite worked. Typically with other Bi females, just because we are all picky, demand is high, choice is plentiful, some are actually men, or circumstances have not worked out. Once I feel myself taking it all too seriously, I have a break.

Helps to put it back in its place as a nice addition to my life not my life in totality.

xx

"everything comes to an end eventually"

So true!

Karen gre bored with the scene and wanted a break back in 2011. To date she has shown no inclination of returning. So although we keep in touch via the forums, partying looks out for the foreseeable future.

I suppose when we stop enjoying it or if family priorities change then we would probably call an end to it, but so far we're still having fun and enjoying ourselves xx

yes... same as anything...

if you dont enjoy it, and it is not something you have to do... don't do it!!!

same thing in swinging as for example in my job, the day I feel like "i don't want to do this anymore" is the day to move on.....

Hi there,

I have been swinging on and off a few years now and without blowing my own trumpet I have done ok met some nice people and have my regulars.

So I guess it depends on the success you have had !

It's not that easy as we all know.

So some come on here expecting so much then get frustrated then leave.

But if you have had success and still are there's no need to stop lol

i was swinging for years with my ex ,took breaks cos of family probs .but he always wanted to go back to it ,he used to say its like an addiction you cant give it up

the bitch he left me for was someone we

met thru swinging and he told me he had told her they would have to give it up .

as for me i gave up when i met a guy last year never told him about my swinging so dipped back in after i dumped him x

We have been swinging on and off for around 10 years. We will often take time out when it starts to be become frustrating rather than fun.

Imagine there will come a time when we just won't come back...but can't see that happening for quite a while yet.

i think maybe this is where we are at the mo, the hassle of arranging it all with potential let downs doesnt seem worth it, but i still like to chat with sexually open minded, i'll never say never but im certainly not that bothered right now! x

For me I think the end of my life as a swinger is here more or less. The age thing seems to be a problem for 99% of the ladies now a days.
