Actually turn up to house parties?

Lets say 10 couples are invited- how many would you expect turn up?

If say 10 single men were invited what would you realistically expect the number to arrive.

Surely it depends on the type of people that are invited? If, for example, you invite 10 newbies, maybe expect 1-3. If more 'established' swingers, then maybe 7-9!

I was going to ask this very question..myself and a female friend on here are hosting a party for couples only for around 10 couples...

Also was wondering if a date of 27th or 28th December, or would a more realistic date of the first weekend in January be more realistic for attendance?

If you invite people you know and give them enough notice - most will turn up or let you know they need to cancel in good time.

If you invite strangers - there's less of a guarantee they'll show. Pay close attention to veri's mentioning clubs and previous house parties and you'll boost your chances - as well as early phone contact.

Nothing in life is certain but you can certainly help yourself out with a few common sense approaches!

if we invite 3 couples to our parties, then 3 turn up.

no point inviting loads as we dont have room if they all turn up

and if only 1 couple turns up then we can still have some fun with others, so no sweat really.

100% of cpls turn up

100% of females turn up

20-25% of single guys turn up

Yes I think inviting 12 couples will be unrealitic...So 3-5 will be great

We've spent a many an evening in Central London penthouse parties where 15+ Beautiful couples have been invited, needless to say we've way had too much fun to care about or even notice the no shows.

In our experience if you invite the right people everyone will turn up x
