There are a couple of places I know where guys go to meet guys without setting up a meet first.

So when I drive up that dark road and see a car parked up how do I tell if they are there for that reason or indicate that's why I'm there?

I would assume he has a hard on or is getting his cock out. If not ask it would save you getting into trouble by badger watchers.
