Just curious becuase i've spotted a few people in tescos in the past! it was a case of ooh i wonder if they saw me, or did they even recognise me at all with my clothes on lol!

of course, i would just say hello, normal thing to do, wouldnt immediatley bring up that i knew them from fab, unless they asked, and if there were other people nearby i would say i know you from the website: fabulous friends.

If we'd met and they were alone definitely. If they weren't alone, a smile and perhaps a wink. I wouldn't want people approaching me with 'hi fab buddy!.'

Of course - why not? Be difficult to say you're 'friends' if you blank them in the street.

I did once see someone I recognised from fab in M&S ...we locked eyes from a distance but did not speak - I hadn't spoken to them before but recognised their face from my hotlist

Yes. Went to a party some distance away then bumped into a guy the very next day. It was quite funny watching his eyes peeping down my top obviously remembering me naked astride him only the night before

We had a brief chat without really mentioning it.

You can never tell what's going on in their life at that moment, who is standing a few feet away or what awkward questions your greeting will prompt.

Say nothing though by all means send a Fab PM later saying why you did what you did.

Depends on the friendship. Just cause they are on my 'friends' list here doesn't mean they would want to chat in a non-swing/vanilla scenario.

I would politely smile if i did see them and chat if we were happy to do so

I was brought up with good manners.

So I say hello to EVERYONE I know if I meet then in the street.

Have been with vanilla friends on a night out and bumped into fems from here and initially said hello. Back off and watched from a distance then when the coast is clear spoke to the in more depth.

If they are in the supermarket with family I will say hello in the passing or make some form of small talk to acknowledge them.

Saw someone I worked with on here...government public facing job

..face pics on the public section, no doubt it was her, she was even in the suit she wore for work, other pictures of her in all her her glory ( looked looked great by the way) the next day I walked into work with her and I mentioned Facebook and privacy, and how we had to be careful online, Especially 'dating sites'...she said I don't go on those sites and walked off..that evening all her pics were private. And I was blanked at work lol

We have been seen by a guy we played with in a pub .but we had company and just nodded and winked .which is the same as what we would do .there is also a husband of a couple I see every day .who is on fab .works out off the same company as me .we have spoke at party but not played as a couple .we keep it private we are swingers .although I like watching guys fuck my wife .I wouldn't want all workmates or factory knowing .best to just be polite .and act normal

Everything has its time and place, and mature intelligent adults should be able to acknowledge each other and even have a brief conversation without letting anyone within earshot know how know each other.

I've found that a nod, wave & a knowing smile from a distance usually suffices. Especially, if you can't remember their name or only know them by their profile name.

You can't tell if they're with someone or not.

Their wife/ partner/ whatever could be in the next aisle or just standing a few feet away.

It's not worth the risk.

if they are alone then yes, especially if we have met before, but would obviously be as friends rather than discussing things about here.

if it would be the first time we had actually met in person, or if they were with company, then no, but would message and say we had saw them and the reason we didnt approach to say hi.

Ive been messaged on here after someone on my friends list saw me in asda, they couldnt approach me at the time as they had kids with them. Totally understood.

I guess it depends on context, if the person is with someone them wait and message on fabif you want to. If they are on their own a quick hi would probably be ok.

Although I have had a guy come up to me in a pub saying "your suchabody off fab arent you, is that your boyfriend your here with" had to explain I was on a social meet and no, I dont have a boyfriend.

I met someone a few times who worked at a small supermarket down the road. We'd often have a little chat. One time I poked him in the ribs when he was walking by with a cage full of stuff and he poked me back. His colleagueon tthe other side of the cage was shocked lol I heard her say 'did you just poke a customer?!'

This nearly happened last Friday. A guy off here saw me in my local pub as I was with friends he said he didn't want to say hello. I said he should have as strangers were speaking to us anyway would have made no difference

No. You never know who will walk up to them from the baked beans aisle while you are talking to them.

I was on cam in here one day ( face ) and the week after got a mail from someone saying I had been in a local shop that day buying blah blah blah and they had served me. I was glad they didn't say anything at the time.

For me, it would depend how it was done. A polite hi, how are ya? would be fine but any more details of how they knew me would be out of order.

I'd smile and say hi, but not make anything more of it. You never know who might be listening and you don't want to put someone in an awkward position - at least with a hello they can tell someone it was a mistaken identity.

Actually it could be argued that it could be better manners to not say hello when someone is in a supermarket with family...

Personally, there are only a few people on our list that are local enough to bump in to and we also know them well enough to know that if they were obviously not with anyone else it would be no problem to say hello. Any doubt that they were not alone - not a chance we'd speak.

I see several very local "single" Fab guys in the street or shops and if I know them, I say hi, if they're with their wives, I say hi to both of them as it's a small town and most folk are on nodding acquaintance even if not convo friends...there's also a couple of singles who I'm on more than nodding acquaintance with both them and their wives and we'll sometimes chat for a while...somehow I manage to refrain from saying "Hey, great new cock pic you posted last night"...

No I wouldn't approach or speak to people. Im very mindful of discretion, I don't live 'fab' 24 hours and I don't expect others do. So my view on it is if we're in Tesco, we're in real life mode rather than fantasy fab world. I do separate the two.

we would smile and sort of nod, if they were with other people it would save embarrasssment and allow themn to ignore if they wanted to.

Mr N recognised a lady who yesterday afternoon from her pictures, he obviously didn't say anything but it did make us realise how easy it is to be recognised if you show your face.
