you dont need poppers. If you lay on your side you will be more relaxed for the first time. Fingers first or if you have a toy or something use that on yourself. It's a matter of getting used to it. If he is experienced he will know to go slow and wait for you to let him in. sometimes pushing out a little helps as you don't close around him so tight. You may find you will take him quite easily. Hopefully he is someone gentle and patient. A lot of relaxing foreplay for your anus will definitely help be it from a fingers or a tounge. As others have said plenty of lube, ideally one specifically designed for anal, which tend to be a bit thinker. If this is to occur at your place I would make sure the room is at a comfortable temperature as well.

Position wise I find it easier to lie on my front with my

legs hanging over the side. Pillows can also be useful for adjusting the height and angle.

Personally I find poppers help but their not for everyone and definetly not a good idea for anyone using ed meds or with heart conditions.

I'd agree with lying on your side, or go on top and control the pace. If they're experienced they'll go slowly and it won't hurt (much), but once they've got to a point the feeling is amazing.
