Private pics

Is it just us when we friend people we like to see there private pics but what is the point of having private pics that tell us no more than public ones ie no faces or no body shots we understand some people don't want there faces on here but surely that's the point of private pics ?!

It would make sense but people use their profiles in different ways. I like to see a face pic of my fab friends either in friends only or by request. We did have a brilliant forum thread a few weeks (months?) ago where anyone could ask anyone else in pm for a face pic. The thread went really well. Maybe that could be done again at some point.

Maybe they just randomly accept friend requests so keep face pics in private and attach them to messages as and when they want to??

It's one reason why we stopped putting private pics on our profile. We also got fed up with people (mostly single men) asking to see them. Everything we're willing to show is public now. We only do face pics if we're definitely going to meet.

I got face pics on anyone see, pics for friends to see and then my rudish ones are private lol

Some private pics show clearer faces or more of a person sometimes some choices seem strange but its a choice thing what you do with what pictures.

Agree, i know everyone has the right to use their profiles as they wish, but it is a little unfair if you show your face pic in friends and they dont. Their pics might as well all be public

Friends only pics are the ones that people want to share with people on their friends list.

It's up to them what they do and don't want to share.

I have no pics at all yet I still have people on my friends list. I am very lucky.

I have used up all 150 pictures of mine lol. Many of which are private, and some rather explicit. If anybody wants to see my face picture, they just have to message me and ask to see really.

Don't have anything to hide. Got plenty of face pics too.

All my private pics are naked ones, either full body, cock pics and back. I used to have cock pics on public view but saw so many comments on forums that women don't like to see them, so I took them off. I have uploaded face pics too, but only send them on request.

I (and we on the couples profile) don't use the friends request facility as a means of swapping photos - its for keeping tabs on people I've/we've met or those I/we chat to regularly.

If we want to send face pics we'll just attach to a message.

I guess people use it in different ways - but I'd never adopt the 'bookface' mentality of adding someone for the sake of it or just to see more pics. I think many get too hung up on how others use their profiles. And if you expect to see faces just by adding as friends - why not just ask for a pic? That way if someone's not for you then you don't have the awkward 'bump off the list' moment to deal with, or a huge list of friends your not actually interested in!

agreed, the amount of people you chat to and accept friends to, only to find out their face pictures arent in and you have to ask. Mildly annoying
