Email, reply then delete?

Newbies here...

We've been emailed, to which we replied and our reply was read and is now deleted (so we'll assume "not interested"); but we'd asked to know either way.

Is this the norm, should we rely on read/deleted as our answer, or have we just been unlucky?

90% of time means not interested

Don;t expect a reply, no one has the right to receive one.

It's pretty obvious that deleting and not replying is a clear indication that the recipients are not interested.

I like to keep my mailbox tidy, always reply, and then delete when my reply has been read, unless I am interested, then I add person to my hotlist.

If there was a picture swap id assume so? I have to say though, there is nothing i hate more than someone not politely replying your not what were looking for, it takes seconds. Just plain rude deleting. Mrs x

Somewhere on the site it says that a non reply should not be taken as being rude but as an unsaid 'no thanks not interested'. I always think it's a good thing to be confident in yourself and not get het up at what you see (or not) on a screen. Do your homework like checking veris, chatting and a social meet before any sex meet, then you can sort the genuine sex rabid swingers from the sad lonely wanking timewasters. Happy Swinging! Personally we will always reply to a well written message as if they have taken time I agree it's polite. But crap messages we don't ever answer.

In this example, we received their email unsolicited (a one-liner); we had a look at their profile, discussed it and replied (quite a long email with a bit about us, etc.).

Oh well... they're not going to make our hotlist

I usually presume two things:

A: they're probably not interested ( for a myriad of reasons)

B: they're inundated and need to keep they're inbox tidy.

Either way I never take it personally

Only one thing that niggles in my mind is that its possible they have done a block delete late at night for a fresh start in the morning...should I send another messsage then next day.?..I rarely do tho

Oh i agree and there are a few exeptions, i just find if someone does actually read our monstrous profile and go to the effort, the least i can do is message them back. Mrs x

Personally always very wary of replying to brief messages, if they can't put any effort in to a message then to me it seems unlikely to ever get anywhere near meeting. The only exception being messages along the lines of "we like what ewe see, let us know if you do too and we'll tell you more about us", though often even with messages like that the next one is suitably underwhelming.

We would take a deleted message as they were not interested.

We will usually reply whether we are interested or not if it's clear the sender has read our profile. Any one liners then we tend to just delete with no response.

doesnt mean anything really ive messaged lots of ppl who first time round just read and deleted but have still ended up meeting or at least chatting maybe they just wernt interested in the message u sent try something else could be just they are having a shitty day lol
