Can't find someone?

We met a couple at a club then chatted to them, via messaging on here. Suddenly though there appears to be no trace of them and all messages have disappeared and can't find them in search, this makes me wonder if we've been blocked or they've left the site but usually you see "user no longer on site" yet there is no sign of this. We're not too bothered more puzzled. Can anyone explain what may have happened please?

Makes you wonder why people look you up, say they'd like to meet and give you their 'phone number.

Happens all the time to us as we won't meet or add anyone before we verify them ourselves

Maybe they had changed their mind about going any further. Granted, they could have at least informed you what they were thinking, but try not to let it bother you both. They may have had genuine reasons. x

No, the messages have disappeared too and whilst we could get someone to search there is no point other than to satisfy curiosity.

It does play in your mind a little doesn't it? I'm sure everyone has experienced plenty of these moments. I'm sure future meets will soon wipe away any curiosity that you may have

Yea, messages stay if someone just blocks you.

Has your other half deleted the messages? Perhaps s/he decided they don't want to meet the other couple but didn't like to tell you?

Usually when you block people the mail is still there. If the person leaves the mail is still there but says 'user no longer on site'.
