Apologies for being ignorant here, but i was wondering if someone could explain the distinction.

I have seen the terms bandied about but am confused as to their meanings

Top = someone who takes the active roll in sex, ie likes to be on Top, can be a male or female with a strap on.

Btm. someone who is more passive and likes to receive cock or strap on.

To confuse the issue, some tops like to be fucked, some btms like to fuck.

men with erectile problems, ie diabeties, cant actually Top, although they may well be dominant.

not always, I am 100% btm, I have never fucked anyone in my life,

but in sex I am always on top!
