Okay I'm almost 100% positive I'm going to get stick for this. I went to a strip club with a friend last night and only my second time in one. I just don't enjoy myself in there! Obviously there's a few good looking girls but I just don't agree with paying money for a dance as its obvious the girl just wants your money. I would much rather meet a girl and have a sexy dance from her. I don't know what it is!! I just can't get in to it? Am I weird?

I think it's just the fact of it being fake attention! If the girl generally, seemed to have an interest then I would enjoy it. However the chance of a stripper being generally interested in me is slim to none. I think next time I will at least entertain a girl and talk to her see what happens.

This in no way having a go at strippers! I think they can be genuine, sexy and work hard for their wage. It takes a strong woman to do the job but on the other ban I think some girls who strip can be the opposite. This is more my mentality to paying for a girl to dance for me.

you have to take a strip club for what it is . I went last year on a stag do and we had a great laugh, one of the youngsters came in his pants , so funny , but the girls were really nice to him when they found out . Don't take places like that too serious .

I take Miss to strip clubs often.

I never want a dance, but i'll happily pay for Miss to have one.

She loves the girls dancing on the poles publically and we talk about each one dance skills and their outfits.

However many girls want to do a couples dance and wont dance just for her, so i decline.

I just want her to have the dance then see the huge smile on her face afterwards.. i get rewarded (and so does she) when we get home together

I have been to a strip club with a date and my expectations were overhauled. It was funny watching the "Heroes" return from combat being greeted by their fellow men after they had paid for a dance. My date paid for us to have private dances and like the OP if I thought it was "for me" it may have been arousing. It was fun or should that be funny

What was funny, as we entered I got warned not to solicit the men (there's no way I would have been a free-lancer and got my kit off

For the first few hours I was the only female client.

It was an enjoyable first time experience and the most off-putting thing was one was a smoker.

The club I went to, ALL the dances with clients are private, and the dancers strip entirely. The only dances you get to watch publicly are the semi-naked stage dancing (pole dancing).

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Not a fan of the "modern" style of strippers and going to a specific area for a personal dance. Much prered the older style where the stripper just got on with the tease, bump-n-grind and got all of her kit off!

I really like strip clubs, if a man or woman has a beautiful body, face to match, and a flair for being sensual, teasing and rhythmically moving his/her body...hell yes, I'd pay to see it. And I would consider it an evening of entertainment. Many (including myself) would pay to go watch other moving art, ballet/latin/performance art. I've been to clubs here and abroad, male clubs, female clubs, with a partner, with friends. I have had lovely experiences. Simply because someone is doing a job does not mean he/she cannot enjoy it. Neither does it mean it's impossible too build a rapport, or enjoy the company of a client. I'm quite surprised by some of the responses on here!

I went to watch the Dreamboys a couple of weeks ago for a hen do and found it funny rather than erotic or sexy. Yes the lads were well endowed, but I would say no more so than a few of the guys I've met on here. It just didn't do it for me so I asked my fb about female strippers as I've never seen a female stripper and he said he wasn't overly impressed...guess it isn't for everyone. I wrote an article about strip clubs a couple of years ago and inter_iewed some of the dancers. if you go with a bunch of lads, late on a Friday or Saturday after drinking all night, you will generally have a lousy time. Dealing with a club full of d*unken idiots is the worst part of their job. However, if you go when the club is quiet, stay relatively sober and talk to the women, showing them respect, they will make the effort too. They are performers, not sex objects. If you accept the dance/strip as a performance in which you are the audience, then you will get the most from the experience. The women I spoke to admitted that they enjoyed getting a man (or woman) aroused - it's 'the best customer feedback' they can get!!

Yep - each had a different story to tell, different reasons for doing the job. Some nights they made big money (if you call £500 big money), other times they were lucky if they got £50.

They all said they enjoyed chatting with polite guys. It made the job more interesting!

The last time we went all the girls were Brazilian. Fantastic lookers and they knew it but were lazy, couldn't dance to save their lives, didn't speak English and were real mercenaries. It was no fun so we stopped going.
