Am I the only one or does it drive you nuts when you get a message from someone and its all in text message talk.

If they want to cut down the time for messaging are they really worth the effort to reply?

What's your views on this?

Typing in text speak is too much hard work, let alone understanding what on earth is being said!!

I am completely with this.... There is nothing more likely to get my goat!

But then being realistic, it's never going to be a deal breaker unless I literally can't understand what they are saying!

It's an excellent filter. If people want to do it, then fine, I doubt we'd get on though, I don't even use text speak when I'm texting!

This is one of these divisive issues that appears regularly in the forums. It seems to be a bit of a "marmite" thing.

We hate it frankly & will never meet a person who writes in text speak regardless of how many other things appeal.

dont mind it usually but some cases its like reading another language. they manage to chop every word down to a few letters and numbers
