Why? It's not photography club, personally I use a digital camera, because I already have it. At times I see blury pics and think for a milli second, I wish it was sharper...then move on to the next pic. People share pics on here to show who they are, not for pornography. x Ps you shouldn't make others with less material possessions feel bad.

Yours are quite graphic if I'm honest. Sometimes less is more maybe. And yes I keep mine private as I'm a secret agent and can't be recognised as it would be a threat to the national security!!!!

Mine are mainly taken on a phone - just because that's what I usually have to hand - they're generally spur of the moment pics. If I was planning a pic and posing for it then I'd probably use a camera - but I don't tend to work like that

Oh - and phones are handy for taking pics and sending them to people quickly

Its worth a thought that camera phones are so very convenient, but the reality is that if you misplace or loose the phone ALL your photos can be recovered.

I bought an unwanted smart phone for a friend earlier in the year off a well know web auction site. When I ran a software recovery app to try to restore the device back to new status can you imagine my surprise seeing the seller stretched out stark boll*ck naked on the sofa as he posed for his girlfriend.

I'm not an IT wizz, so this is worth thinking carefully about.

If I'm capturing images I now use my digital SLR as it really does make such a good difference and if the images are risky, then I have a dedicated SD card for such images.

There are apps to hide photos too- that can only be uncovered with the same app again!

I think it's easier to upload using my phone but that's just me, then again I take the time to make sure it's a good pic, and when my mans taking the pic he does the same...maybe it's a patience thing, and sometimes I think some do it on purpose.

Other than that yeah a crappy phone could be a factor lol I do enjoy the pics from those who use cameras...it's like going to an art gallery

sony DSLR here, makes all the difference, however we do have a couple of phone pics added, if you have a decent newish phone and if the room has decent light and you have a steady hand they turn out ok.

Oh, don't be fooled by pixel counts, it's sensor size that matters! 16MP squeezed onto a sensor the size of half your little finger nail, isn't the same as 16MP on a camera sensor. It's just a marketing tool.

I'd actually like to get better at using my camera. I know it's not a dslr but I think it's a fairly decent camera.

You're better off doing a course at your local college, camera clubs really are inhabited by wankers who insist everything is done by 'the rules'!

Some of our images on here were done with my phone, some with a shitty little point and shoot that I carry with me all the while and the rest with the DSLR.

At the resolution that they get resized to on here and the attendant loss in quality, I doubt many people come tell which were which.

My phone cost £8.50 and was probably manufactured in North Korea. You can take a picture of a house and folks squint at the photo and say who's that meant to be.

I use my camera to take pics when I'm out and about.

That's all about Fab resizing images to a standard size, regardless of the original size of the image. If it was larger than the Fab default resolution it resizes, if it was smaller it resizes. When you click the image to see the large version, what you actually see is the original resolution, which might actually be smaller than the image you clicked on. Often an indication of thumbnails nicked off the internet too!

Clear as mud, isn't it!!
