Unfortunately I am yet to have a pleasant sexual experience, I have had some horrible sex the type of stuff learned from Porn. As it happens I am sitting here watching a documentary Diary of a teenage virgin and OMG those poor kids all they know is what they see in porn,rough,ramming, no intimacy pain and ignorance of the female body. I have been left sore, battered bruised and have had internal bleeding. It has made me wonder if there is something wrong with me, or is it the guys who have it wrong particularly the younger guys. this is something i totally agree with.

the impossible sex (and dangerous) featured in porn has become more and more common. people get bored and look for the next level up to get excited.

fucking for hours is not normal, yes build up rest start again and again and again, but not two hours of totally impossible sex.

it's not just young men. Older men like to do it too and in my experience are generally more into fetish like strangling and fisting. Fucked up thing is that there is lots of porn out there that portrays sex as the complete opposite to the horror story I'm reading about here.

And you know people watch porn more than ever with internet being such a big part of our lives.

So it's possible that their awful attempts at sex could come from a complete lack of respect for women physically, mentally, emotionally.

Agree on the first point about having to reconsider your own selection process and with others about you needing to speak up about what you like/dislike before, during and even after sex. I've enjoyed some pretty rough sex but I'm never been left with internal bleeding and would be seriously questioning how I'd allowed things to get to a point where I was in so much pain

As for the comments on age though...I think it's an easy cop out to assume a younger guy will be crap in the sack and an older guy will be more sensual. I've met a variety of ages with vastly different experiences and styles...Yes I have preferences, but these are down to attraction not experience

I was quite spoiled in my youth I think, I had some wonderful lovers, and this time round, well, there's a marked difference in what a lot of the younger guys particularly are seeking. It depends on your taste too no doubt. I've only met one who was too much for me, luckily, but a good proportion of the others are really missing out IMO.

Be clear about what you want and, just as importantly, what you don't want. No woman should EVER tolerate sex she does not enjoy. You need to make it very very clear to potential meets what you want and do not put up with any crap. Stop sny sexual activity you are not comfortable with. It is YOUR body.

This is true we make porn that both men & women watch hence the amount of couples that we shoot compared to other UK producers, the industry is against rough violent films & most stick to BBFC regulations e.g. normal suck & fuck films.

There are some producers into bad S & M, scat, being sick on each other, spitting on each other but these are reported & stocks are usually seized.

UK porn is mainly amateur & in very mild to Germany, France, Holland & the USA where unlike us they have limited regulations.

I do know what you mean. I have been to parties and seen guys ramming into and banging women hard with no sexual skill or sensuality at all.

I don't allow men to be rough with me. My OH also tells guys no if he feels they are starting to put pressure on as he knows exactly what I like. But I do see a lot of it in clubs and parties so a lot if guys are influenced by rough sex.

I think the squirting obsession has exacerbated this too as it seems a certain pressure has to be applied to achieve this.

I want to say a big thank you for engaging in this post and for all the kind messages I have had. I grew up in 70's with a swinging family sex does not frighten me and I am by no means a prude I just find that the whole dating and swinging scene today is more open sometimes less personal and very different. I have tried to improve my screening as best I can and I will be more demonstrative in my choices. I am grateful for all the advise I have been given this was just an observation on how guys today in my experience see sex and I have received private messages with much the same things being said. Why watch marylyn chambers to see what's what. When you can go straight to the source and they can show you what they like and show exactly how it should be done

So op are you saying that men SHOULD be following fashion and also getting all their ideas of what women want from porn but only if its porn made by a woman? That women individually should just go along with it? The responsibility for ones sex life and enjoyment of it doesn't rest with the porn industry and men it rests with the individual and their partner or partners. I was born in the fifties but I don't have sex in black and white with pointy bras and a Lana Turner hair cut with one foot on the floor at all times.

The thing is, you can't have it both ways.

Saying that some women demand to be treated like sluts is their choice in how they enjoy sex, it's not wrong or right, it's just them. Others enjoy being treated differently again, not wrong or right just them. The reality is, that we all have individual tastes and it's down to communicating with a partner what you both enjoy not just what one person wants. The trick is to find the person who wants what you want and you're attracted to and is available.

We all have different moods that can change during sex. Things can get heated and a little spank might occur. That could lead to some hair pulling, breast squeezing, shoulder biting. The important thing is to say enough when you have had enough and for the other person to slow back down. This works both ways. Men take abuse,pain and torture too and they always say when they've had enough
