What is it that makes us see people differently. One person will think someone good looking the next won't. Personally I've never really been into stereo type good looking men, although there is some exceptions. I tend to see/notice things others don't

Its hard to say but there are 3 groups I guess. Some that everyone finds attractive and at the opposite some that are unattractive to just about everyone and then a big group in the middle that are one way or another depending on who is looking.

Google Golden proportion, it is a geometrical formula present in the entire universe and has attractive appeal. We see it also in the arts as well as nature and the face. Those whose faces adhere to the golden proportion will have a higher attraction rate than those who haven't.

I have an extended theory to cover exactly what you ask: we each have a geometric formula to our faces and I believe we find those attractive whose formula is nearest to our own.
