Who said anything about being a pro?

You don't need to be a pro to be a good Dom.

And I agree with what others have said, the behaviour you described is not dominance. Doms are responsible for the welfare of their subs so it's a good idea to have some idea of what you're doing.

My thoughts would be that Bdsm is becoming less of a taboo so more people are trying it at a younger age, things like Fhm and 50 shades owe a lot to the resent upsurge I think.
