Take your credit cards, spend 5 minutes to just have a drink seated and people watch

Might be different this year as it's at a new venue, but at Olympia, it was a top tip to head over for a stage show early just to get a seat

Hi all

we will be at the erotica show on the Saturday around 4ish and have booked a hotel in Covent Garden for the weekend.

Wont be going to any of the clubs as we have been to a few around London and the only reasonable one is the F club.

If you see us say hello, a drink and chat are always welcome lol, and who knows for later....

A tip for any first timers, look out for people dressed up, and if the lady is wearing seams come over and have a chat.

Tobacco Dock back in the day as a desert. Absolutely no reason to go there. At least St Katherines dock had Tower Bridge next to it. Although remember this, News Int is the big building between the two and the pub on the main road used to be used as the location for Dear Deadrie photoshoots.

We get emails with message alerts, so send us a message if you're in the swingers lounge and we can see if we're close and come to say hi.

We were there on Friday, it was very busy in the middle of the day on Saturday.

But overall we were somewhat underwhelmed as well. Surprised by the lack of stalls, and it was a shame there weren't more, which might make the organisers want to re think a little on their charges for stall holders.

The shows were fun and some of talks were great too and we got some great stuff there but we heard alot of grumbles about the organisation this year.

Glad we weren't working there with our own stall this year.

Our first impressions were good, but it went down hill a bit from there. So much more could have been done with the place! It definitely needed more stalls, you can get as much at LFF or Lamb every month!

Still we did see and enjoy the shows, and met a few from Fabs which helped things along.

The Singers Lounge was a disappointment, difficult to get served and virtually nowhere to sit and chill out. A dozen sofas and a bit of warmth would have helped a hell of a Lot!

Still the organisers may have learnt a few things at this new venue and we may give them the benefit of the doubt and try one more.

We were fortunate to have traveled down with some friends and had a great laugh, but were quite disappointed overall. We could never get near enough to any of the stages to really see anything and a lot of the stalls were quite disappointing. Drinks were stupidly over priced. We had 2 warm pints of lager and 2 s, which cost over 14 pounds. The s were in tiny plastic cups and we're poured from a bottle with a 1.39 price flash. We looked into the swingers lounge, but it didn't look very inviting. It was great seeing the diversity of people there, but I don't think the organisers have realised the full potential.

Fortunately we managed to spend the day with a fantastic couple and it wasn't wasted.

We agree too... This was our first visit & we were filled with excited expectations.... Quite disappointed, just how did you manage to get cluse to the front of any show & see anything, we didn't & gave up trying. Hugely disappointed with the Swinging Lounge which certainly didn't lend itself to sitting, chatting, erotically socialising, 4 round tablets with as many chairs..dire lack of thought or promotion. The whole event left us thinking we won't revisit for a few years.. Fantastic venue with huge potential.. Just needs lots more planing & investing

We've been going on and off for the last 7 or 8 years. Started of good with something for everyone from beginners to the hardcore... Over the last few years it's turned into an ideal home show with a couple of slightly risqué stalls. I'm glad we did not go but it's a shame it wasn't better. We would have loved to have heard it was a great day out and that next year wasn't to be missed.

Unfortunately I don't think we will ever go again, which is sad as it introduced us to so much in the early days...

Hi all.

we went on the Saturday and didnt think it was too bad at all.

we know it has been getting smaller as we first went 9 years ago but the stalls arent what most go for, its the chance to dress up and chat to other couples.

We agree with the comment regarding lack of seating in the swingers lounge, it could have done with some more, but the lack allowed us to introduce ourselves to a lovely couple and fun should follow lol.

Will definitely be going again, and meeting up with more new people lol.

The Swingers Lounge which was run by another company were asked to be there at the last minute, so there was very little official swingers presence there this year beyond Spice / Desire and Hedonism.

Everything was rather done on the cheap.

New venue it was like a over priced shopping mall, no atmosphere,small stages not enough viewing areas or seating areas. Has got worse every yr. Berlin for us next yr .

After parties: launch. Well says it all didn't sail sunk.

Hellfire: over priced double normal entrance total rip off no effort on club part and music well we are both deaf now should we sue lol .

Summary : erotica you have ripped geat people off long enough. Pack up and live in your mansion

Normally these are trade shows and just that. They want the big businesses and not generally the general public and if so just for branding.

Like I said on the other thread the best is to keep it local, fetish markets around the UK are best and then improve on them add a bit of different flavour.

We went this year for the first time and we werent that impressed with it.

I expected the lay out to be different and the choice of clothing and toys for sale was poor. We didnt find it that erotic to be honest but we would return next year just to compare x

Disappointing. Went in previous years when held at Olympia, going back year after year, noticed that there was less and less effort made. Thought with a years gap and the new vaulted/dark location, the show would step back up to being Erotic!

You could pick up most of the items being sold from local bizarre fairs and the internet. The show's we're badly positioned and felt that we had more room on the packed Piccadilly service heading towards Harrods.

Think next year would be to just go down to London for a weekend away. Only thing that made the weekend was meeting up with a great couple and an experience of going to a strip club.
