From other threads I've read on the subject most people don't think pregnant women should swing - personally I find pregnant woman incredibly beautiful and would always treat one with thorough respect to ensure an enjoyable and safe swinging experience was enjoyed by all parties.

You really should think about having extra testing, your local GUM clinic can give you lots of good advice and information.

I still played up until a couple weeks ago. Only have 2 weeks left so have stopped now. But it is entirely personal preference as with anything else. You do have to be a bit thick skinned though, as inevitably people will ram their opinions down your throat. Just don't let others make decisions for you. If you're happy, do what you want. And congrats x

This! Usually single men or married men cheating, don't want their wives on here or delete their accounts the minute they get a girlfriend but happy to say go for it, I'll meet you! Personally, being pregnant was a special time for my husband and me and I did everything I could to ensure I did everything to protect my baby. Meeting strangers for sex didn't cross my mind.

there is evidence that supports sti's being very harmful to a foetus.

But to answer the question (as many others have done) - it's your decision. It's your body, your child and your life. I think the point was that sex in pregnancy whether with a swinging partner or husband etc is safe, there's a huge amount of evidence for that

The risk of harm with swinging is the % likelihood of catching an STI per sexual contact multiplied by the % likelihood of harm to the baby even if the STI is caught

That is the pure statistical _iew of it, in pure numbers term therefore the risk of harm to a baby, from swinging is probably very low indeed

The risk to the baby in pure statistical terms is probably higher with smoking or even the pregnant woman continuing to drive

The risk however even if low is not zero, and of course swinging is avoidable (as is smoking, driving etc)

It is highly unlikely any pregnant woman goes through a pregnancy without incurring some degree of risk to her unborn child so anyone thinking they are having zero risk is naive

What women do in their pregnancy, and which of the potential avoidable risks they do incur is obviously up to them, the key in my point of _iew is to aware of the risks
